I'm a very busy person and trust that ordering online will be accurate once I pick it up. I get back to work and an item was left off the order. It was only five dollars but, I paid for something I didn't get. Email sent and no reply. That is what gives this place a lower score. Customer service is extremely important. Open the bag when you pick your order up and make sure everything is there. Had they replied with resolve, the score would be better. After all that, the food is very good, I must say. This hometown deli gets 5 stars for me!! From the inviting decor to the great customer services, and the amazing food, we loved it all! ! I was in the mood for a great deli sandwich and some soup and this place hit the spot. I tried their chicken salad on a croissant and it was nice consistency, not too creamy, not too chunky! The sandwich tasted very fresh!! We had the deli chili which is almost like a gumbo but without all the crazy spices!! Man this thing was a hit! All the pieces of meat inside the chili packed huge flavor and just the right amount of saltiness. First time in the Main Street Deli. We are typically not in that area at lunch time. Bottom line, we will be back! Great service, very friendly both in front if house and the kitchen. Both of us had the New Yorker and potato salad. Very tasty meat and the flavors were very good. Parking in that area can be challenging but, a good walk after lunch is good for you . The pictures don't do this place justice! The food here is superb. I had a Turkey Sandwich, which sounds simple, but it was done to perfection. Be sure to get lightly toasted on baguette for any sandwich. So good! The Fruit Cup doesn't look like much, but there is more in there than you think, and it's all super fresh. So glad we found this place. We were looking for a breakfast place and found this on Yelp. This is our first visit here. The place is clean with lots of appetizing deserts in view. We like places like this...family owned and friendly. The owner Chris was friendly and very personable. There are some creative, original menu items including some tasty and healthy ingredients. Everything Is cooked from scratch and no canned stuff. I had the Country Breakfast with pork and chicken apple sausage). They don't usually have the chicken apple sausage but today they did and it was delicious. The corned beef hash plate that my husband has comes with diced corned beef brisket, sweet and regular potatoes with green peppers. They are so tasty. Cinnamon rolls look so good. Breakfast and lunch is above board. It has become one of my favorite place to eat. Chris and Jeremy are the best in creating different choices to select from. we stopped in today for the first time, and what a comfortable place to be. owners and staff are super great and the food was wonderful. it has been a long time since we have been to a deli, no less a small hometown deli, in ages. I highly recommend the Cuban, club and or the New Yorker sandwiches. the muffins, which we got to try from the owner were wonderful blueberry and then he told us that they were gluten free. I could have eaten a dozen of those little guys, which he told me that he bakes specifically to take to church and share. how much better does it get. Everything about this place is just OK. Overpriced by about 25%. We had the triple decker club and another sandwich(forgot the name). Two tiny little pieces of bacon on the sandwich. The bread didn't seem very fresh. Seemed like all cheap ingredients. Great looking simple menu. Loved the broccoli salad side and the house made hot sauce. The food is unbelievable! I had the Italian grinder sandwich and tomato/basil soup and was absolutely blown away! My husband had the reuben sandwich and French onion soup and it was just as fantastic! Everything was so fresh and so flavorful, you can tell it’s made with love! This was so good, I would give Chris (who answered the phone and helped with my order, uber eats was acting up) 5 starts for his service alone. Dude literally wrote down what I wanted word for word and the order was delivered correctly. The food was also good, got the omelette which was delicious with potatoes also good, i do agree that the potatoes could use some more seasoning in general but the flavor from the omelette and sausage made up for it. Also tried the B's favorite sandwich, delicious. Personally i dont like a lot of meat on my sandwiches but it was sooo good. For those with bigger appetites this will be filling and hearty. Finally had the pumpkin cupcake. I ordered red velvet but they were out. Usually I'm not a fan of pumpkin but this was good. All in all, 5 stars. Wife and I have eaten lunch here several times and really enjoyed it so we decided to try breakfast this morning. Man am I glad we did! It was all good, the home fries were particularly tasty. Wife got the French toast and it was delicious! My only gripe is that they ran out of coffee after 10 and said they didn't have any more to brew. After rereading my initial review and conversing with the owner (two stars for him), I'm editing this post for content and tone. <br><br>My experience was less than ideal. The prices were higher than what I expected, the turkey was on the tough side, and the bread didn't seem to hold up to the condiments. Pickle slices might be a good addition, and my fried potatoes were undercooked and under seasoned. In my opinion, using thicker, carved slices on sandwiches can be great, but when you do, cut and portioning become paramount. Too many thick slices reduce the surface area and enzymatic exposure of the meat resulting in a chewier bite. Shaving or thin slicing lets you add more meat without the chew. I think it would also help to roast the potatoes in the oven ahead of time with seasonings and then just crisping then in a pan for service. Just seems like it would help create a consistent product that would be quick. Just a thought. More...
