My son and his family is moving in with me due to my wife's passing away in March so they needed to have their rental home thoroughly cleaned prior to them handing in their keys. (and to get most of their sizable deposit back too!)So, to help them I decided to help pay for a maid service so they wouldn't have to try and get that done balancing work schedules etc.So called Maid Brigade and spoke to Nikkie, the office manager, who gave me the info+ the estimate based on the size of the rental.  I gave her the ok on the phone .  She is very professional and friendly and GREAT to work with!They sent out 2 maids out THE NEXT DAY to do the cleaning etc.  and when they were done I wrote out the check!  The place was CLEAN and they did everything we agreed to!  Job well done!!Highly recommend Maid Brigade & Nikkie and they get my *****5 Star Rating*****  Thanks Nikkie!! Just got my first deep clean from Maid Brigade and I am IMPRESSED! I am a total clean freak who routinely gets my house cleaned professionally every other week, and I basically am constantly cleaning up/picking up everyday. We moved into our home about a year ago and after many trips to the beach, adding a new dog to our family, lost of guests staying with us, etc. I decided it was time for a deep clean. These ladies put in WORK! All in all for my 3/3 home it took them about 5-6 hours and they scrubbed every nook and grainy. Got all my grout bright white again, and everything looks awesome. I have tried four cleaning services in the past 12 months, and this is the first one that has exceeded my expectations.  It depends on who the assigned cleaners are, but I have been very happy overall.  There was one occasion where I was somewhat disappointed, but when I gave them feedback, they were quick to remedy the situation.  I don't expect everyone to be perfect the first time. Maid Brigade's cleaning service is excellent, trustworthy and reliable; in answer to those who complain about scheduling, I have had no problems whatsoever with their scheduling. It is a huge plus that I have always been able to arrange for the cleaning team to let themselves in even when I'm not at home. I don't have to struggle with language barriers; I can explain complicated needs and situations (e.g. this summer we had a nasty plumbing sewage backup issue in the bathroom that I cleaned myself but that needed extra disinfecting by the regular Maid Brigade team) to Felipa at the home office. Maid Brigade takes its price quotes very seriously and in my experience is not the nickel and diming price gouger that a reviewer on Yelp claimed. I used to be an individual professional housecleaner and I know how long it takes to do a thorough job. The Maid Brigade cleaning teams always work extremely hard at full speed. They are cheerful, efficient and thorough, they are kind and affectionate towards our curious, mischievous dog and elderly cat, and they know how to arrange the linen couch covers and pillows with a flourish that makes our modest, ordinary living room look and feel like a spa resort--the extra loving care doesn't take long but just feels SO nice. They are so conscientious about pricing that I practically had to FORCE the home office to let me pay for an extra ten minutes per week for the hard working team.  No, Maid Brigade is not the cheapest, but for a highly efficient two person professional cleaning team, they aren't overpriced, either. As other customers have mentioned, it is a big deal to us that the employees are background checked, honest, hard working, lovely individuals who are on the books, paying into Social Security, etc. and that we don't have to worry about liability or long term worker exploitation. I would be suspicious of a truly professional cleaning company that charges significantly less, because being on the up and up does cost real money behind the scenes as a business owner. I love maid brigade. I have been their customer for close to a year now. I am satisfied. I love them because of two things. One is they always arrive within the time window that Marcy (scheduler) says when I call her on the day of the service and another thing is they clean based on how we need them to. I agree to the other reviews here that they are a bit pricey. I did try another service for just one time and those guys drove me crazy. I again came back to Maid brigade. Their professionalism with scheduling and their follow up is great. It has always made uncomfortable to use freelance maids. Going that route is less reliable and I felt bad knowing they were not paying into social security, unemployment, didn't get health insurance, etc. The initial cleaning was expensive but we had been without a maid for several months and didn't have the time to keep it as clean as we wanted so I can see why they need to do the initial cleaning to set a baseline. Mostly I like that they are insured and bonded company, the cleaning staff has had background checks, and their staff are getting paid on the books and get health insurance. My experience with other maid services is that the maids want me to hire them directly and skip paying the service.  And there is no uniform quality of service. That is not the case with Maid Brigade.  What attracted me is that all maids are employees of Maid Brigade. The service carries its own insurance so I didn't have to worry about liability issues. They are highly organized. They prepared a check list of everything that needs to be done that is followed by every worker in my home.  By the way they work and the details they take care of it appears to me that the maids have experience in the hospitality industry.  I recommend this company wholeheartedly. From beginning to end, Maid Brigade was a pleasure to work with (they 'deep cleaned' my condo.)  EVERYTHING was cleaned, polished, etc. to perfection, my place has never been cleaner.  The two professionals who did this work were assured and experienced, and it showed in the high quality of their work.  Everyone involved with scheduling and completing the work at Maid Brigade was a joy to work with, and kept me updated throughout the whole process. I hired Maid Brigade to do a "deep cleaning" and then had them come twice a month for a few months. I thought their deep cleaning was FANTABULOUS. ..which is why I hired them to come more regularly. I thought they did an excellent job, but didn't give them 5 stars only because I felt like their payment plan was a bit rigid when sometimes I wanted them to do one room and not another they had to "check their policy" every time.... I had to reschedule my original planned cleaning due to our closing date on our house getting moved two days later than scheduled. They were understanding and able to get our house in to be cleaned in the same week. They cleaned the kitchen, a bathroom, and two unfinished rooms in the basement. They cleaned the drawers and cabinets in the bathroom and kitchen as well as the fridge, stove, and microwave. It looks amazing. And best of all, there was no chemical smell! These maids know how to do it right!! We have been using them for over a year for monthly cleaning. The hardest part of using maids was stopping my wife from cleaning before the maids arrived. "I don't want them to see a messy house!!"Once you get past that hurdle, let them take the lead and watch them transform your house. They find dirt you wouldn't even know is there. When we asked them to clean an old white fiberglass whirlpool tub, I thought the thing was destined for the garbage...The bottom was black and the jets were crusted. Maid Brigade is very professional, and I'd definitely use them again! They provided me a deep clean at a very reasonable and competitvely priced rate, and I found their responsiveness, customer service and family owned feel was a great fit for me and my family's needs.  My home is over 3000 sq ft with lots of hard surfaced floors and a big shedding dog and it was sparkling when they left! They were able to schedule me a few days before I was having a graduation party and I felt so relieved that I didn't have to do the cleaning on my own. They provided such a quality clean that even my guests commented on how fresh my home was upon their arrival. As I said, with a shedding dog, my floors are never clean and Maid Brigade helped make them shine when I needed it most.Like the many other satisfied customer reviews share, this company is awesome. The crew of 2 maids show up during the agreed 2-hour window and proceed to thoroughly clean my apartment. Everything is neat and tidy, and fresh-smelling, when I get home, they have good attention to detail. I use them every other week.

Love love love love love. We just moved to PV and our former housekeeper couldn't come with us due to the distance. I called MB and they came out to give us quotes. Their prices were completely reasonable and in-line with what I was thinking. They were on time, courteous, professional...and fast! And our house smelled so good after (we have 3 dogs and a toddler so that's hard to achieve).  Carolyn and Dennis, the owners, couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. The other really awesome thing I liked about them is that they are incredibly safety conscious and color code their cleaning supplies so that things like bathroom cleaning supplies don't touch kitchen cleaning. I have been using Maid Brigade for over a year.  Dennis is awesome, and usually the team does a good solid job of cleaning my house.  I'm compelled to write today because I did notice a week ago that the dusting wasn't looking good, so I did a thorough walk through (which I normally do not do) after they left.The team did not do a great job.  Dusting was not thorough, hair left in drains, food left in kitchen sink.  I was surprised because this is NOT the job I expect from Maid Brigade.  So I took photos and emailed them to Dennis.  Within 2 minutes, I got a call, and he offered to send another team. I didn't want to spend more time waiting today so I declined. Dennis then asked if could schedule a free clean next week.  He was apologetic, prompt, and offered solutions.People have good days and bad days...we all do on the job.  I don't expect perfect, but I do expect good service.  I do highly recommend Maid Brigade because Dennis clearly cares about his customers, and want the work to be done properly.   I have never had a problem with communicating with Dennis - he is professional, courteous, and clear in explanations in why is team can do certain things and why they don't do others.  This is a very reliable company, and would be a great service to try if you don't have a cleaner already. We used Maid Brigade for 2 years while we lived in Redondo Beach and I couldn't have been more impressed.  Dennis did an initial meeting with us and we were immediately impressed.  Over the next two years, Dennis and then Maria were always available and responsive.  The products they used were legitimately green (something I've been having problems finding since moving down to South Orange County).  The women who came to clean the house were always friendly, polite, efficient and honest.  For example, over the 2 years, 2 items ended up broken (a candle holder and a q-tip holder).  Both times, one of the cleaners would say something to let me know.  Of course, neither one was a concern for us.  At one point, we had some issues (small annoyances like not putting trash bags back into the trash can or we had an area that wasn't cleaned as we would have expected... we had just sanded and repainted the area the day before they came so we expected to see it cleaned).  As a result, we decided to jump ship for a month and leave Maid Brigade.  We tried out another service during that month and what a disaster that was.  I didn't think it was possible to appreciate Maid Brigade more.  But now having moved and trying to find a new cleaning service, I am again noticing how great they were and how hard it seems to be to replicate the service we received. I have used this service once. I had them do a move out clean when I was moving out of my apartment. Everything was sparkling. It actually looked better than when I first moved into it. Really grateful for their service. I was super busy and cleaning was the last thing I wanted to do. The customer service was grate. They even call you the day before to confirm that they are coming. We have used their service twice now. I have 2 teenage boys who share a bathroom. When my wife got sick, we could not keep up with the day-to-day cleaning. The bathroom got beyond gross. We have a fiberglass whirlpool bathtub that is also used for a regular tub/shower. The biggest problem with a white fiberglass tub, is that it is next to impossible to get clean. Dirt gets into the texture and will NOT come out. This tub had not been white in years...Until these miracle workers showed up!! The tub is sparkling white and the bathroom is ready for a military inspection. And this is just the bathroom...The Kitchen, living room and other areas were just as clean, just didn't require hazmat suits to clean!! More...
