I went here for the first time last night with a party of 10. Our reservation was honored early and we were sat almost immediately. The atmosphere is comfortable and the lighting is cozy. Our waitress was patient and kind. Our food was great. My fish was fresh and prepared well. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The prices are a bit high but I dont mind paying more for quality. The creme brulee was excellent. The only negatives - they were out of non alcoholic beer and the brownie in the sunday was very dry. It was a pleasant experience overall and I will return. More...

Easy parking, good ambience, decent food and excellent service. We were a large party (9) and were a few minutes late for our reservation. We also had to get in and out quickly for a tour of Hammond Castle Museum. Our server was very accommodating- took our order quickly and put it right in. They had our food on the table in short order so that we could make it out on time. The food is decent- nothing to write home about but good enough to satisfy everyone. Cute little pub like restaurant tucked in downtown Magnolia. Cozy and comfortable seating area, tall tables and bar with tvs. Booths are high enough to avoid the tvs, if you so choose and provide quiet for talking. Food is well made. Had the potato skins, ceasar salad and a cup of chowder, all with fresh ingredients. My friend had an ample portion of chicken tenders and the ceasar salad. Dessert of the chocolate lava cake was just the right size to share. Chocolatey and melty, just right! Service was so-so given we were early and few tables were filled. The food was wicked good!! Environment made me feel like as if I was at home. Our server I believe her name is Christine was really nice and cordial. It was a very nice time and I would come back again. The only thing is the “zombie” drink is wicked strong and I only took 3 sips of it and asked for a sangria so be aware haha More...

We've been to Magnolia 525 Tavern three times in the last two months and have had a great experience each time. Their service, food, and atmosphere is fantastic. Easy parking, nice décor, friendly and responsive wait staff, interesting drink menu, and quaint bar all contribute to making this our new go-to option on Cape Ann. in fact, we have plans to take friends who are visiting to have dinner there this weekend.
