Mark is a pro! I manage a private yacht club and we have several events that’s we use Mark for. The kids love him at the holiday party, adults are blown away by him at our Halloween party, magic happy hour and a bunch of other events. He’s social and interacts very well with guests. Mark performed for our Cub Scout Halloween meeting. He kept the attention of 60+ k-5 kids for 45 mins. There was lots of laughing and we got complements from many parents after the meeting. Would highly recommend Mark!

This is my first time using Bark. My event was in a few days and I wasn’t sure anyone great would still be available. I’ve been to kids parties with magicians before and have not really been impressed and I didn’t really know what to expect with Mark. First of all he was very easy to work with, when we changed our date last minute he was very flexible and accommodating. He came on time like he said and at first I thought how am I supposed to get all these kids off the inflatables and sit down for a magic show. But Mark captured their attention for a full hour even when the ice cream truck pulled up. Even the adults enjoyed the show, it was the best money spent for the party. How long have you been interested in magic?
I've been interested in magic for over 50 years. From my first magic set through my shows in Las Vegas, San Francisco and New York City, I'm constantly learning and updating my act with the latest magical illusions. Take us through your show – what can we expect?
My Stand-Up and Close-Up shows have been tested over 40 years with hundreds of audiences. Self-contained, I require no special lighting or sound. Magic is your best entertainment value and I'm VERY reasonable for an entertainer with 4 decades of experience. Call me to discuss your event so I may tailor my show to your needs.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked as a magician at Six Flags amusement park for two seasons when I was a High School student. Magic by Mark grew out of that experience and I performed regularly in college. After college graduation, I performed on weekends and visited magic conventions in cities across America. I've now performed in five countries and live/work in CT.

I don't do Zoom shows as my act doesn't pop like it does in person. Sorry.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I always sanitize my props after each show and I use a generous amount of hand sanitizer during my show. Additionally, I'm often asked to wear a mask which is no problem at all.
Stand-Up Magic
I perform Stage and Close-Up, Sleight-of-Magic for All-age audiences.
Shows last up to an hour and include audience participation. There is NO smoke or fire and my show is G-rated for all audiences. Classics include rope tricks, silk scarves, paper streamers, vanishing and appearing objects. My act does NOT include juggling, bubbles or balloon animals. Please call to discuss your event.
Close-Up, Sleight-of-Hand magic.
I'm an accomplished Sleight-of-Hand magician and perform regularly at restaurants and reception halls.
My act includes cards, coins, silk scarves and much more!
My Close-Up act is usually no more than 30 minutes but I often combine my Stage and Close-Up acts for a full hour of magical entertainment. This Two-for-One act is very popular and is an excellent value. I often am hired to go table-to-table entertaining small groups a few minutes at a time, before dinner. Magical MC
I have MC'd for a variety of events and make announcements while performing magic. Often, I'll welcome guests and perform an opening trick or two before introducing a speaker or the DJ. Throughout the event, I continue to make announcements, call out guests for recognition, remind guests to bid during a silent auction, present awards, etc. These elements are greatly enhanced by magic and guests remember these events for years.
