Terrible company with impressively worse customer support. Their maids are insanely inexperienced and can't even perform the most basic of cleaning tasks. They will over charge you for every single service asked for and not even communicate to the maids what the services are that you paid for. It took days to even get on a phone call with them about the booking they decided to cancel without notifying us about. When José first came in, during the initial walkthrough he talked at length about everything he would NOT be doing because I did not pay for a "deep clean". Which frankly is a turn off. Who starts any customer experience with what they're not getting because they didn't pay more? When he and Sandy were done, José showed me the many photos he had taken on his phone of his "work". Unfortunately, that time would have been better spent on the job itself because there was still dust and hair on floors and surfaces. I ended up vacuuming and wiping areas after he and Sandy left. Other cleaning services in the area cleaned my entire house (no restrictions on rooms/bathrooms) more thoroughly for cheaper (and that's after Maggy Maid's "$40 promotional coupon"). Other cleaning services didn't show up and make comments like "this shower is not included, this area we're not dusting". They had a flat rate, got right to work and got the job done - Which again was completed at less cost in the same amount of time. **see my previous 5 star review to find out who the other stellar cleaning service is!Ultimately, you know when someone is doing half hearted work and when it is detail oriented work. As if to explain the mediocre service, at the end José hands his personal business card with the pitch of cheaper, better service when I book directly with him rather than through a referral agency like Maggy Maids. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Paid 320 for a deep cleaning while my mother was in hospice and myHome wasn't even surface clean. Dirty floors, window sills, dust, marks on my walls, completely unsatisfactory. When I texted photos, the person who booked the service was apologetic and agreed the job was shit and told me the same people would come back Monday to "redo". Exceptionally terrible experience. I booked a deep clean & knew that's not what I was going to get when the 2 cleaners were done with the 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & 2 windows in less than an hour. I went to check on their work & found hair on the bathroom floor, dust on the baseboards & light fixtures, tub/shower hadn't been properly scrubbed, windows weren't cleaned at all, etc. I immediately called Maggy Maid expressing my disappointment & asked them to send the crew home because I just knew they wouldn't deliver the deep clean I needed. I wanted to nip it in the bud & reschedule with a new crew, but they said they'd speak with the cleaning crew & straighten things out. From there, it was super awkward as the cleaning crew confronted me about not liking their work & asked me to point out what I didn't like. They went back to "touch up" the bedrooms & bathrooms while I checked on the kitchen & living room. Same story there. They basically did what I do on a weekly basis which is not what I requested. I ended up on the phone with Maggy Maid 3-4 times & also sent several emails with photos of the poor cleaning job. They tried to pressure me into paying a reduced rate of $250 for the cleaning despite the fact that it was not even close to what I asked for. The whole experience was a disaster. My place was not deep cleaned. I wasted a ton of time on the phone & emailing. I felt awkward in my own home. The cleaning crew ended up rudely storming out. I hugely regret using Maggy Maid.Since David was so kind to respond, I should add that while the maids were rudely & abruptly storming out, they said they would not be charging me anything. I scheduled a first time cleaning online. The company reached out shortly after by text, suggesting that I have a deep cleaning instead for $80 more ($240! !). When I said no thanks, I'll just keep my original normal cleaning appointment that was confirmed online, I was then told that no one was available for my zip code at that time. BEWARE: Maggie Maid is not actually a cleaning service they are a cleaning REFFERAL service. What that means is they don't use their own people they just coordinate other cleaning companies. Here's what that means for you:1) if you hire for continued service- they will send a different crew every time. That's what happened to me- each time I would train the cleaners and show them what they needed to do and the next time they would send different people and it would start all over.2) Maggie Maid will take no responsibility for the cleaners. On the third visit the cleaner refused to hang up a laundry basket of clean laundry. When I called Maggie Maid they said they had no control over what the cleaners will do and wont do because they don't actually work for Maggie Maid. In essence they just threw up their hands.3) When I originally scheduled service with Maggie Maid I was very specific about what I needed done and we discussed what I would be charged for it. Laundry is extra but since I had already cleaned the laundry and just needed help hanging it they agreed. But they obviously made no notes in the account because later when someone else answered the phone they told me something different.Frankly- Maggie Maid is a scam. They are poor at scheduling (canceled on the first day and rescheduled.) They are inconsistent (different cleaners every time) which is a waste of your time. They take no responsibility for the people that come into your home. Lastly, they are dishonest as they did not clarify that they don't use their own cleaners when I signed up for service.Save yourself time and headaches: if you want repeated cleanings find a company that uses their own people and can deliver some level of consistent quality. have had a really solid experience with maggy maid so far.  <br><br>had to switch from another booking agency due to uneven quality of cleaning &amp; constant availability issues, was a bit nervous at first but maggy maid&#39;s customer service (david especially) has been top notch, and we were able to book the same cleaning team which was really nice peace of mind.  our place isn&#39;t that complicated of a job (split level 2br / 2ba condo), but you can always tell when someone is doing a 1/2 effort job no matter what.  prices are a bit higher than with some companies i got quotes from, but so far i feel it&#39;s been money well spent. <br><br>honestly night and day from the other we were using before  (tidy), which actually doesn&#39;t even have a reachable customer service line!  hopefully our experience will continue to be as impressive with maggy maid. Covid is not an excuse for bad customer service. Their website appears to have available bookings and the whole process seems quite straightforward and easy. So when you book a cleaner and rearrange your life to prepare for this 8am booking, it&#39;s a *little* frustrating when you get an email --not a phone call mind you, an EMAIL-- that blankly states they&#39;re fresh out of cleaners indefinitely and can&#39;t commit to the date. No info on future dates or rescheduling. Just, nope! Dear David:<br><br>After our conversation, I&#39;m extremely unsatisfied and unhappy with the services I received today. For you to say that you won&#39;t send out a team first thing in the morning unless I pay some $ amount today. I confirmed with you, if I pay a small amount today, I get a team sent out first thing in the morning. However, I pay nothing today, I don&#39;t receive a team first thing in the morning to get the job done right. YOUR TEAM SCREWED UP. Because you continue to insist I give you an amount I feel is worth the services rendered today. If I tell you the place looks no different than before they arrive and after they left, doesn&#39;t that alone say a lot?<br><br>I requested and was assured the best team of two would be sent out here today at the time of booking. I did, off the bat, request for deep cleaning. I was specific I needed DEEP CLEANING. Instead I had a team of two that chitchat for three hours in the kitchen to clean the hood (over the stove) and wipe down the floors. THREE HOURS for the hood and kitchen floor??? Then the two cleaned the half bathroom together. Really? That took nearly an hour. Two people in the half bath? Other cleaning services takes ONE PERSON 15 MINUTES or LESS to clean a half bath. I went to check the kitchen. They didn&#39;t really clean it well. I took my Lysol, sprayed certain spots of the floor and wiped it up with a clean paper towel. Done. It was clean. I went to check the half bath. Same thing, they moved things around and cleaned around the things they moved. I moved a vase in the half bath and saw the UNCLEANED AREA. The  floor was still dirty. I asked them to please re-clean the half bath floors, which they did. But now from ODORLESS bathroom, initially, to SMELLING LIKE URINE NOW! Now my KITCHEN AND MY HALF BATHROOM SMELLS LIKE URINE. DISGUSTING! My bathroom and kitchen is in WORST CONDITION THAN BEFORE YOUR TEAM CAME TO CLEAN.<br><br>For a period of time, while they were wiping down the floor of the kitchen, it smelled like very strong urine. I asked my daughter, who was standing further away by the patio door in the living room if she smelled anything. She confirmed yes it smells really bad like pee. I thought it was just me. Even my daughter thought it smelled like urine. Oh my goodness! <br><br>Then you tell me your service is you, David, staying until 7pm to speak with me??? Wow... Whatever happened to good customer service where you get the job done right? You and your representative, Dee, tell me over the phone, your cleaning team will stay until everything is clean. Well... That&#39;s not what your team said. They immediately called it a day (ONLY CLEANING THE KITCHEN, and the HALF BATHROOM) as soon as they heard me repeat what you said over the phone, &#34;they will clean until everything is clean,&#34; they tell me that they&#39;re calling it a day. I&#39;m still on the phone with you. I convey what they said. You didn&#39;t ask to speak with them. You didn&#39;t ask them to stay, as you stated to me they would. You, David, and Dee assured me over the phone that they will clean until everything is clean. Well... NOTHING IS CLEAN.<br><br>They never even cleaned the other three rooms Bedroom, office, den, full bathroom, or vacuum the staircase or anywhere else. The full bathroom, as I communicated with Dee, only the tub/shower needs to be cleaned. The rest of the full bathroom is fine. You want me to be honest? This is my honest answer to you. How can one justify paying when your place looks no different from before your team came? Keep in mind I cleaned the kitchen floor myself AFTER your team cleaned it initially. It shouldn&#39;t be that way when one hires cleaning service. You pay the cleaning service to clean so that you don&#39;t need to CLEAN IT AGAIN yourself.<br><br>By the way, my ODORLESS bathroom now SMELLS like URINE. WOW...<br><br>Therefore, as we discussed, you stated, if I feel the value was worth zero then I should pay zero dollars. The place looks the same, except I need to disinfect everything now - The kitchen counter, the dishwasher (who puts non dish ware, rinsed with just water into a clean load of clean dishes - specifically communicated to Cristina upon arrival), the dishes and etc. (inside the dishwashers), kitchen floor, half bath floor, half bath sink, and toilet. Good availability and very thorough

Wow! I only found Maggy Maid perusing through Yelp yesterday and am so glad I hired them! I needed house cleaning urgently with guests arriving. The client service gal was super responsive and lined me up with a mother-and-son team Bartola and Francisco in minutes. <br><br>They showed up right on time today and did an AWESOME job, and were courteous and professional. When they left, it felt like my house had just emerged from taking a luxurious bath. It looks good and smells great! Thank you Franciso, Bartola and Maggy Maid! <br><br>What would have been icing on the cake would be if they offered a new customer discount. Rolando and Maria have been cleaning our 1800 sq ft home once a month for the past year and they are wonderful! I have been looking for quality housekeepers for months and nobody was able to meet my standards until RACHEL &amp; TONY! <br>Our 2 bedroom home has never been so clean ! From the ceiling fans to the light switches to the little crevis under my sink - not a single spec of dust or dirt was left. They were very thorough and respectful of my furniture and decor -- everything was handled with care. And to top it all off, they were both incredibly kind and friendly. I’ve been using Maggie maids for about six months now and they do such an amazing job I love my Cleaners Socorro and Sonia! They always listen to my needs and always arrive exactly on time if not a few minutes early. They’re always so sweet when they arrive and play with my little doggies and they just have a really nice caring disposition!
