I took my son for a haircut at 18/8 Salon in McKinney. From the moment we stepped in the door we were greeted and offered a drink. Then Candace-Marion called us back. She was very professional yet personable. Candace-Marion asked what style my son wanted. She continued to ask questions until she understood what he wanted and throughout the haircut she made sure they were on the same page. The Shampoo and massage after were the icing on the cake. Where to begin, I was just leaving a Monday meeting (I don't work on Mondays) that highlighted the customer experience and going above in beyond to be the next obvious choice. Candace-Marion, no matter what route you take in life, so long as you take with you your excellent ability to speak with someone genuinely to guide them in your expert craft.
I thought I knew what I wanted, really what I had was a direction I wanted to go and Candace-Marion guided me to the conclusion that I feel is best for my hair. Combine that with a well practiced hand, and knowledge of styling, I feel confident that for the first time I have a plan for my hair and style!

Bailey, who directed my first impression was also worthy of noting. She greeted me with a big smile and was quick to not only get my process started, but also making me comfortable. Offering me a refreshment, directing my attention to areas I may need, answered any questions and engaged me in conversation that brought more of their services to my knowledge.

I believe that reviews are mostly for the people, but I was impressed with the thought and layout of the building.

Took my 8 year old son here on a Sunday as we hardly have time during the week to get a haircut . He hadn’t had a haircut in 3 months . Wow ! What an incredible haircut from Lacee . She was extremely sweet and asked lots of questions to make sure she gave my son exactly the cut and style he wanted . I will definitely be bringing my son back to see Lacee again ! 5 STARS 1st time to this place, everyone was friendly and it was a very clean environment! This is the place to be for beard and goatee coloring, Lacy colored my goatee this morning . .. it’s a black fading to blue fading to green...and she did an awesome job!!!!
