Absolutely wonderful experience. Cake was delicious and she helped me brainstorm a really creative cake. It was a cake for my fathers 70th birthday. He is a gastroenterologist and I wanted a cake that highlighted his love of all GI stuff as well as his adolescent sense of humor. Mad baker was flexible, responsive and overall just a real pleasure to work with. She was also so honest - we changed the cake shape part way through which resulted in a lower cost. I just paid the original cost not thinking and MadBaker reached out to me to tell me she was refunding me a big chunk of money! I will be a customer for life! More...

Incredibly talented baker! She made my baby shower cake and nailed it based upon a photo! Not only did it look like a work of art but tasted unbelievable! I ate 4 pieces and I don't even like cake! I just ordered it for my family, it was moist buttercream with strawberries. Vanessa you rock! I will only order from this incredible baker do not miss out! We were very excited to use MadBaker based on reviews we saw. I saw them tagged on a post which lead us to giving them a try. The cake was beautiful and the design was exactly what we expected. However, the filling we asked for was red velvet and it was more chocolate? We were trying to justify it being red velvet but it was not. None of our guests even guessed red velvet flavor. We do believe cream cheese frosting may be used. The cake inside was also a bit dry... Overall it was good, but not what we expected in terms of flavor.
