I was in Philadelphia for a business trip and had the opportunity to spend some time with Maddie in her studio. We exchanged a few emails and agreed on a time to meet for a one on one lesson. Maddie made herself available on Sunday evening on short notice. I was so thankful she did that for me because I had limited time. When I arrived at the studio she was waiting for me with my pattern already cut out!  Totally unexpected!I also attended the Open Sew to finish the matching bra. Maddie is very reasonable in pricing considering the high quality fabrics. I'm going home with new matching bra and panties that are too cute!!  I highly recommend a visit here even if you don't know how to sew. Maddie's class was SO fun, even for a MAJOR beginner. I took one intro sewing class 6 months before Maddie's class so I was definitely nervous. But Maddie was extremely informative and attentive to the needs of all the attendee's sewing levels. It seems that the experienced sewers learning a lot about technique and refined their skills with Maddie's guidance. While less (or no) experienced sewers (like me!) got more hands on help with basics.Beyond bra making, Maddie puts on an incredible lunch spread - delicious food and treats!Ladies and brides-to-be, take this class with your girlfriends and your outing is totally planned to perfection and SO much fun! Plus, you'll get professional photos (by Maddie) of your day so you can all put your phones away and enjoy!All in all, I finished a bra! It's so cute and I feel so proud wearing it! More...

Madalynne Studios was a wonderful place to host a bachelorette "Panty Party!" Myself and seven other girls socialized, ate, drank, and sewed for 4 hours! Maddie was very attentive to the needs of each girl based on their prior sewing experience (most had no prior experience) and was a hands-on instructor. We all left Madalynne Studios with smiles on our faces and a pair of hand-sewn new lace panties! Highly recommend More...
