Had the made in house clam chowder and corn beef and cabbage. It was great. The corn beef was a large slab of corn beef brisket and the cabbage was nicely seasoned.

One week ago we had the pleasure of Great Beer, Food and great service in the downstairs pub. Kelsey our bartender is on it, and her company and pleasantries rated a 5 out of 5. Choice of beers amazing. My husband had the Dark Dog and I enjoyed 13th street (not sure maybe 15th street) a red beer. YUM. We took home a growler to enjoy in the coming days. The loaded potatoe soup will be my go to when on the menu. Calamari was a good choice from the appetizer section. Another little tidbit about the establishment. Haven't been here for twenty years. Clean, good help and a lot of customers for a Tuesday night. Enjoyed the Shepherd's pie. What a great restaurant/ pub! We're on a trip and was supposed to drive up further into Idaho but decided against because of snow. Our hotel recommended this place and we weren't disappointed. Great food, fantastic friendly service. We felt catered to. Since it was relatively early, we were informed of a bar downstairs. Cute bartender took care of us and her customers were totally friendly with 2 strangers. Great conversation. Excellent array of alcohol especially Jameson's. Pool tables and a few slot machines. I had a 1/2 turkey club with a salad and a local IPA downstairs in the pub and it was perfect. This was my third visit and each time I've been pleased. Working out of town and went looking for a place to get a good meal and a drink after a long day. We pulled up and one of the people outside helped us park our box truck. It was latest in the evening on a Monday so it wasn't busy but that didn't stop the great service and great food. We both had the fish and chips plus drinks from ther bar - super reasonable! We will return!

I've been to Mackey's a number of times and haven't had a sub-par experience yet. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive, the cooks were very quick and spot on with my burger. If you are a burger fan, and have a big appetite I recommend the Texas Burger, sporting Mayo, tomato, lettuce, a whopping 1/2 lb patty, and topped with cheese, onion rings, and barbecue sauce.
