What a terrible experience! I ordered a coffee table from Luxe Home Philadelphia because it had BY FAR the best price on the internet. When I emailed to confirm that it was the correct item that was listed, I was told that it was in fact the price of the side table, not the coffee table (the description and the photo were of the coffee table). I told them to cancel the order and they said they would and that I would receive a refund in 7-10 business days. 1 month later, I still did not have a credit on my card. After 2 emails and several unanswered phone calls I had to open a dispute on my credit card, which they took care of. Between the bait and switch advertising and the poor customer service when asking for a refund, I would strongly advise to NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! More...

I have had a very good experience working with David in furnishing my apt. He helped me with design and finding furniture that fit and was in my budget. Lots of cool stuff. Glad I avoided Raynour and Flannigan. Felt like there was more opportunity for the contemporary style I wanted. Yes I paid more but I like the furnishings and appreciate David's help. Delivery is also very good. Kevin and the rest of the delivery crew come on time and are efficient in the set up. More...

Beautiful store. Do not be deceived by the outside -- this place is actually three floors. One of the younger interior designers Jen helped me out with my purchase, and was a complete delight in our interactions. Jen, along with the older bald gentlemen on the third floor, Steve (?), were the nicer ones out of the bunch. Karen, the principal designer, seems very much like a no frills type lady.I will say inspect your purchases thoroughly, especially if they are floor samples. I noticed a large crease in the lamp shade the staff wasn't aware of and they accommodatingly knocked off an additional amount on the sale price. Luxe Home's stable of furniture lines is a veritable who's who of the design worlld, ranging from the totally lustworthy Boller & Co. case goods to the well-crafted and transitional Vanguard upholstery to the clever Regina Andrew accessories. Â Perhaps I have visited at different times than other Yelpers, but I have seen well-constructed vignettes throughout the store. Â That is not to say that there aren't random pieces here or there but the store is by no means chaotic. Â The owner was exceedingly helpful when we were looking for furniture, Â Gently steering us away from gorgeous pieces by Dwell Studio because the seats were too shallow for my tall, former football player Mister. Â Instead she directed us to Vanguard, assuring us that the quality was top notch. After hopping around the store to "test drive" various models and configurations, we were sold on the brand. This store has gorgeous pieces ... We recently just purchased a home and went from a 1 bedroom condo downtown to a 5 bedroom house in a more suburban section of the city. Â Needless to say we had lots of rooms to furnish! Â There are soooo many beautiful pieces at LHP ... but we would go broke trying to outfit our entire house w/ their designs.For some reason I had my heart set on a stainless steel dining room table. Â I had never actually seen one before, but the vision in my head was absolutely beautiful. Â After some internet searches, my husband found EXACTLY what I was looking for at Luxe Home Phila. Â We checked out the Transitional Quentin Dining table about a month ago, just after our offer was accepted on the house. Â We didn't want to jinx ourselves and order it before closing ... but after closing last Friday - Luxe Home was one of our first stops. Luxe Home Philadelphia has an amazing selection of furniture, art, accessories and lighting! I did not release they work like a design firm, where most of the staff are Interior Designers and have the capability of custom ordering almost anything you want. This was a big plus when I was re-doing my living room. I was helped by Francesca. She not only helped with color schemes, but she also came out to my condo and measured my space and put together floor plans for me. She has been great to work with! She is a fantastic designer and really has helped transformed my room. Furnishing my living room was something I was dreading on doing but with the help of Francesca and the Luxe Home team my experience has been extremely postive and pleasurable! This store is great - I love the look - comfortable, casual, but with style - not in-your-face style, classic style.  The best part to me is that the staff seems to really know what they're talking about and you get great service.  Plus I got a lot of design assistance!  They now carry other furniture and lighting lines  than just Mitchell Gold.  I think they have changed their name to Luxe Home  (or something like that).  The prices aren't the cheapest, but I think they're good value for the quality and service.
