Lulu's House of Flowers

I am so in love with Lulu's House of Flowers...They are wonderful to work with, their values are evident in everything they do, the arrangements are exquisite, and I will ONLY order from them going forward.  They opened in March 2020 - can you imagine how difficult the first year was for them?  They are an independent women-owned business AND they donate 100% of profits to animal rescue in Mexico which is far more desperate for our dollars than similar nonprofits in the US.  BRAVA, RUBY!!!! I researched for days before coming across Lulu's House of Flowers.  After reading their reviews and looking at photos of their arrangements, I decided to order flowers from them.  The flowers in all of their arrangements look so fresh, beautiful and radiant and based on the reviews, I knew they wouldn't disappoint.   I ordered "The Mini" Designer's Choice.  They were very responsive the day of delivery and also sent me a photo of the arrangement along with the estimated delivery time.  A huge plus is that their profits go to a dog rescue organization in Mexico.  Prices are very reasonable for the type of flowers used in the arrangement.  The quality is WAY better than what you'd get compared to 1-800Flowers or similar websites.I will definitely order from them again.  :)  Thanks, Ruby and team! We try to support local small businesses and good causes; when we found out about Lulu's we suggested that our son order flowers from them for his anniversary. The arrangement was beautiful and knowing that a donation went to the rescue dogs made everyone feel good. I was so impressed that I ordered flowers two weeks later for my wife's birthday and they were gorgeous! I absolutely appreciated the quick and timely response from the owner, Ruby. She's very easy to work with and she knew exactly what I wanted just by sending her a few photos for ideas. There are so many florists that are ridiculously priced, but Lulu's is reasonable and fair. The whole ordering process was very seamless and with her responsiveness, I quickly ordered with her instead of anyone else. I needed a last minute arrangement from my boss to my other boss next day for a work anniversary. I looked at SO many florists sites for the perfect arrangement, and ultimately settled on this local business based on yelp reviews and photos. I used their website chat feature and talked to Ruby about specifics I was looking for in the arrangement. She listened to my wants and met my needs. She texted me photos of the arrangement before it got delivered and told me what time it would be delivered. You can't get that with bigger floral companies which I've had disastrous service issues with to the point I will no longer use them. Stay local, help small business! What a GEM!! I live in the East Bay and was looking for a local florist that delivered to Los Altos and the surrounding areas. I could have gone through those larger online flower shops, but being an independent contractor myself, I wanted to support local businesses. Let me just say, that the entire process with Ruby and House of Lulu, was PERFECTION. Not only was the checkout process seamless and communication excellent, but OMG the arrangement was exactly what I wanted. A couple of days later, I received a call from my family member who had just had surgery, to thank me for the beautiful flowers. I had a last minute order and ordered late night Thursday for a delivery the next day.  Because I ordered so late, I chose to do designer's choice for a bouquet in order to get the same day delivery. Ruby emailed over photographs before sending the flowers out, and the flowers were delivered on time. The bouquet was so beautiful! The arrangements at Lulu's House of Flowers are AMAZING. Ruby's work is incredibly gorgeous and unique! My first contact with Ruby was Mother's Day week. I had reached out to her already knowing that she was sold out for the weekend. Ruby was so nice and told me i was able to order an arrangement for a Friday delivery instead which worked out perfectly for me! She asked what flowers my mom liked and she worked her magic! My mom's arrangements were gorgeous.. Ruby really went out of her way to incorporate my moms favorite flowers! I was so impressed! During the same week, i suddenly needed a sympathy arrangement right away and Ruby was so quick to respond and help me. The arrangement was simply breathtaking (it was just perfect and was made in such a short notice). I can't thank Ruby enough for all her efforts and outstanding customer service.. especially during Covid-19.In the last month and a half, I've purchased arrangements for many occasions & every single purchase has exceeded my expectations. Ruby is not only professional and kind, she is also thorough and detail oriented. Her work is incredible and her quality and prices are reasonable. Ordering flowers from Lulu's House of Flowers was such a great experience! Ruby, the owner, is amazing. Great communication, easy to work with, and polite! Ruby sends a photo of the flowers before delivery with an ETA, and even asks if the flower arrangement is okay. It's such a fun and personal experience!  What I love most about these flowers is that profits go towards a good cause and truly support a mission I believe in!So I've had the chance to order twice from her already (in one week!). We ordered flowers for my friend whose bachelorette got postponed due to COVID-19, and Ruby was kind enough to put it together and delivery day of. It was such a great experience that I decided to order flowers from her for Mother's Day. My mom is usually indifferent about flowers and usually says flower deliveries are a waste of money because they look poor in quality, but the ones from Lulu's was just beautiful and good quality. The flowers looked so happy and healthy! My mom is a huge critic but she complimented the flowers! I also really love the style of the flowers -- I think they're more boho/organic looking, if that makes sense.Pricing is very reasonable and it comes with a vase. Totally worth it, considering proceeds for towards a good cause. There needs to be more nonprofit florists like Lulu's because it really pains me to be spending so much on flowers! It looks like Lulu's House of Flowers is a new business, which must be hard during COVID-19. But what's nice is that Ruby is able to make last minute requests. This was the best experience I have ever had ordering flowers. Communicating with Lulu made the gift more personal and special, and it was so much more meaningful than ordering through an algorithm. I very much appreciate that the company is mission oriented and proceeds support philanthropy efforts.
