Lucille was the first florist I spoke to and immediately I knew I wanted to work with her. She answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel like I was asking too much. I scheduled a meeting with her and sent her the deposit right away. I brought her a picture or what I wanted and she made them perfectly. I feel like I made a friend while doing all my planning because of how easy it was. I also added something last minute and she had no issue with it. Everything looked absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend Lucille's Florist. I do not live in the area, so I called them to order flowers for my aunt's birthday, to be delivered the next day. The person I spoke with on the phone was very helpful -- it's so nice to have someone answer the phone right away and spend time with me to give suggestions and describe/explain everything. The flowers were so beautiful, colorful and fresh (and reasonably priced). They made my aunt's day. I wish Lucille's Florist could deliver flowers to where I live. We were very impressed with the work Lucille did for our summer wedding. I had several phone and email conversations with her throughout the planning process and she also made time for us when we were up in Fishkill. She is very experienced. As someone who knew exactly what she wanted in terms of florals, I was very prescriptive and Lucille delivered just that. She was very prompt and efficient in terms of set-up. Our baby’s breath chuppah was a total dreamy cloud, and my bridal bouquet was enormous with orchids that truly shined. Our centerpieces achieved the perfect minimalist chic look I was going for with branches filled with orchids mixed with floating candles with calla lilies. We had contracted this florist many months before our wedding. She let me email her exact photos of what I wanted and she was also very informative that the images that I sent were silk flowers therefore the colors may vary a little bit from the real fowers. . They absolutely went above expectation my flowers and arch arrrangements were absolutely beautiful and stunning. The women's corsages and the men's boutineers We're absolutely perfect. I did not use her services for the center pieces however because I wanted to pick my own wild flowers and make my wedding a little bit more Personal. Even though I wasn't using her for my entire wedding needs she fulfilled exactly what I needed. As you can all agree as brides and/or grooms things can get a little bit stressful. She dealt with my crazy emails a 100 times And always responded in a timely manner. I'm going to finish by saying my bouquet was absolutely out of this world and again definitely more than what I expected. This is definitely artistry at its finest and I highly recommend Lucille's forest forest for all your wedding or event needs. I’ll start by saying I did not order my wedding flowers from this florist this review is based purely on my customer service experience during my wedding flower inquiry appointment in 2019. I had a scheduled appointment and showed up on time with my mother. When we sat down to discuss details on flowers I felt unwanted and as if my questions were a bother. This would be the most expensive and important flower order I would ever place and I expected a warmer welcome and someone who actually wanted to talk me through the process. Lucille is amazing! My partner and I stopped at her shop to order bouquets, centerpieces and garland; she took the time to show us a variety of options and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Lucille came over on the day of our wedding and did an incredible job decorating two fireplace mantles, our banister and cake stand with garland, roses and pine cones. My wedding day flowers and centerpieces were beautiful.
Leading up to the wedding, it was very hard to set up calls with Lucille. Every time I did get her on the phone, she would be constantly yelling at someone in her shop. I expected this to happen based on previous reviews.
Also, I spoke to her the week of my wedding regarding slight changes (I originally wanted ruscus, baby’s breath and white carnations in the bridesmaids bouquets, but then just wanted ruscus and baby’s breath) and they ended up not being done.
