Lexi was amazing and the cake was so delicious. Planning our wedding was a huge challenge and of all the vendors, Luce Cakes was by far our favorite. Lexi made the process simple and fun, she really loves what she does, and her business is all about helping people find the perfect thing for them, totally custom and unique. So when we didn't know what we wanted, she had ideas, and when we wanted something crazy and specific (Our names all over the bottom tier of the cake), she was excited and positive and totally made it happen! people that came to my wedding are STILL telling me how much they liked the cake. Lexi helped us make the perfect display and matched it to our theme, and gave it some flair that we never would have dreamed up. It was so delicious and so beautiful. Can't say enough good things about Luce Cakes, Lexi was the owner and she worked with us personally from start to finish. She never handed it off to a less experienced person . We wanted a simple but specific cake with three flavors and she was excited about it and really made it come to life perfectly. The cake was delicious, and that was the most important part to me. We wanted it to look just like our favorite dive bar where we had our first date, and she found pictures and copied the wallpaper and campy decor almost perfectly, it was crazy cool. My wife and I had a great experience with Lexi and Luce cakes!
Lexi is very responsive via email or text and is extremely accommodating.
She made more flavors than we expected for our cake tasting and made it difficult to select which flavor to choose because all of the flavors were some of the best tasting cakes my wife and I have tried! We ended up getting one flavor for our cake and added cupcakes for two different flavors. The cake and the cupcakes were a hit at our wedding and everyone wanted a third or fourth piece.
Pricing for everything we wanted (along with delivery to the south bay) was very well priced as well.
I would definitely recommend Luce Cakes and I am definitely coming back for more cakes for future events.

What do you love most about your job?
Helping people figure it out! Navigating options can be tricky, and event planning should be FUN. It's my goal to help you figure out the perfect thing, break down exactly what the costs are, make it FAIR and manageable, and help you find the joy in the planning.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Passion. I've been in the industry 20 years. It should be passionate, creative, exciting. It shouldn't be average, boring, cost-prohibitive, bougie. I see too much overcharging and not enough joy in what chefs do. So my goal is to bring my joy to your event, because, well, I'm lucky to be doing what I do.

I don't lie or upcharge for no reason. I lay it all out for you, and help you match your vision to your budget. There is no reason to compromise one or the other, there's a way to get the best of both worlds.

I booster vaccinate every 6 months. My facility requires vaccination for all clients to enter the building.
