Good food but you have to careful what you buy! I don't like that they use bacon or pork in so many of their vegetables! Pork carries parasites. Yuck!

Our first time eating at Luby's was a positive one. The staff were all friendly and the food was great. The only downside is that the food is not labled on the patron side on the counter, though this is nothing simply asking what the dish is won't fix.

This is a fantastic place to grab some lunch. You grab a tray, go down the line just like in school, then pay and choose your own table. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. It's peaceful, stress-free, and the food is alway fresh and delicious. I love Luby's fish. I like the fried fish but my favorite is the baked fish with the fluffy topping. The almondine baked fish is great too. I always get the fish when l go. I usually get spinach or greens , and mac and cheese and jalapeno cornbread. That's my go- to meal at Luby's . l have had other entrees in the past and all of them are delicious. Good home cooking that you crave. All desserts are great too, if you have room after your Luann platter! Staff is always friendly and attentive. I go there often A tip to save money is to get water with lemon with your meal. It is free and will make the total much more affordable if you are on a tight budget like me! More...
