I have been bringing my son to Lovebug & Me since he was two months old and he is now 20 months. The wonderful Miss Julia has been our main teacher, but we have had make ups with Miss Deborah, Miss Alana, and Mr. Max and have enjoyed all of them. My work schedule changes a lot and one of the best things about the program is how easy it is to schedule a make up class (and how many options there are available). My son sings the songs at home and in the car (we have two of the cds) and we have absolutely loved becoming part of this community. I believe so much in the power of music and how it helps kids communicate and become more confident. I recommend Lovebug and me so highly to all parents! More...

Bubbles, puppets and parachute rides! The magical music educators are seriously so magical. We've been going for a year now and it's been crazy going through my camera roll watching her grow physically and musically from rattling to drumming to singing along. We LOVE LoveBug. Both my 3 year old and my infant enjoy going to our LoveBug classes and love Miss Julia! The themes are always changing for each session, so it never gets old or boring. Love this concept and love the classes. I do think they are a bit short , and wish they were atleast 30 mins longer because I literally feel like as soon as I get there we're already done compare to my mommy and me classes and my gym classes so it could feel like it is a bit much to dress baby change baby car seat drive for 20-30 mins just for 45 mins , and then repeat. They cover a lot of material and do really fun activities and my 5 month old absolutely loves every minute of it. More...

My family of music lovers have been longtime supporters of LoveBug & Me Music! My daughter has been going for over two years now, since five months old. These “classes” have helped her with language development, fine and gross motor skills, but the #1 benefit has been being able to use music to comfort her. When she’s not getting her way or is upset by one of the other billions of things that can cause a toddler to go into full on meltdown, she will frequently ask us to sing to her to help calm her down. Now she will even sing to her new baby brother. We feel so blessed to have found such a fun and beneficial music program. We’ve been with Miss Alana since the beginning, but have experienced many of the other Magical Music Educators during makeup classes - they are all amazing. We have been taking this class for a year now and absolutely love it!!!  This is by far my most favorite class we've taken.  MIiss Deborah is a beautiful soul.  She has the most amazing voice and loves teaching music to these babies! She is so engaged with the songs and babies which makes this class so enjoyable.  I highly recommend this class for infants and toddlers. My daughter loves this class and wiggles along to the songs...  Not only is the class fun but educational as well. It's never too early to start babies in music.  The only complaint I would have is that we wished the class was longer. We can't get enough! :) More...

We absolutely adore LoveBug and Ms. Deborah. My daughter is about to turn 2 and we have been attending since she was 1. The class is a perfect pace, repetition, and variety for this developmental age. We sing all of the songs at home and in the car using all the learned hand motions. She has learned "slow", "fast", "jump", "bounce", and many other words from using the different instruments each week. Ms. Deborah is so kind patient and beautiful, it's like taking a class with a Disney princess! We were already familiar with the location because we take other classes there so it is really convenient. Going to LoveBug brightens our day and provides magic that lasts all week until we go again! I take my 1 year old weekly and she loves it!  Ms Deborah is so sweet and knows how to engage all age children. Mr. Max came to my daughters first birthday and made it so fun for the kids giving parents a break from entertaining them.

It was such a positive experience, because this is finally a music class for kids that has smart and engaging harmonies and rhythms in the songs. I found LoveBug & Me through a facebook post, and thought it might be fun for our 4mo old to be around other kids and hear live music (guitars, etc).  It wasn't totally in my price range but I splurged and went for it. I'm a new mom and this is our first kid so I basically have no idea what I'm doing.We've gone to about 20-25 classes now... and we LOVE it! Miss Deborah sings to each individual child by name (points for learning). She starts with some song and drumming, followed by movement and dancing... and then we wind down with goodbyes (also sung to each child).  It's a meaningful class that isn't boring for a parent, and is hosted by someone with both a beautiful singing voice and musical knowledge (guitar, drum, ukelele, etc). I have been taking both my 1 year old and my 3 year old to Miss Deborah's class. They both love the class and it has so much to offer for the different age groups. We have been loving this class since my daughter was about eight months old, she is now 3.5 years old and my son is 1.5 years old. Themes are always engaging and a good mix so no one gets bored. There’s songs, instruments, movement and learning each class. My daughter is always so excited to go, and since my son has been going since he was in my belly, he gets over joyed every time he hears the songs or we walk in. We've been bringing my son to LoveBug classes for about 2 years and my daughter since birth. They both love it! The music has really helped my 2. 5 year old son come out of his shell, and he looks forward to class each week. The classes are so much fun - singing, dancing, playing instruments, dress up, bubbles, parachutes and more! Plus they clean everything after every class so no need to worry about germs. I would highly recommend as a baby or toddler activity, and a great way to meet local families too. We are obsessed with Lovebug! This review is long overdue. My son started going when he was 4 months, he's now 18 months. He lights up every time we go to class . It's very affordable. I love that we are able to reschedule classes online. The music is amazing, the teachers are caring and inclusive. They all know how to get everyone's attention and keep them involved. Love bug and me is an incredible class. My now 18 month old stared at just under a year, and loves each minute of class. Not going to lie... So do I!The music has taught her so many things such as head, shoulders, knees and toes. Miss Mary was our teacher. She is so warm and entertaining, and truly understands child development. Miss Mary came to my daughters first birthday party and everyone loved her!!She was very sweet and accommodating! we were running behind because our food was delivered late and she was very understanding and waited until our guests were done eating. Went to a few of the classes with the wife (whom also wrote a review) and baby and we always had a good time. We go to a lot of these types of things and there's quite a spectrum of adults: anywhere from totally not getting kids to amazingly engaging, warm, and welcoming. Mary's definitely at the apex of the spectrum. She took the time and effort to get the names of the kids down, kept our little boy riveted, and didn't make him feel unsure or afraid at all (as some adults did when he was this age - he's pretty much passed that now). She also has a knack for keeping the kids focused and engaged through her charisma while not needing to be all schoolmarm(or man)ish; None of that everyone must stay seated in their correct spot BS that doesn't really work with little tots. Ms. Mary was phenomenal at my son's first birthday party!! We had about 13 kids, all under the age of 3 on a cold and rainy day. She was able to captivate everyone's attention (babies and adults alike) and saved the party! We had the party at Garfield Park in South Pasadena and did not expect the rain. When it started drizzling, i started panicking. We were all in the pavilion and no one got rained on, but I was worried that all the kids would be bored and antsy because they couldn't run around. Not the case with Ms. Mary! She had fun instruments (drums, guitar, and xylophone, etc), puppets, and a parachute to keep all the kids' attention. We sang and danced for 45 mins!! The rain didn't dampen the mood of the party because of Ms. Mary! Many random passerbys at the park joined in as well. The most impressive part was how she incorporated the theme of the party into her program. She was great with all the kids, kind, prompt, and easy to work with. She was able to entertain all the kids herself, while the adults are uninterrupted the entire time!!! She is worth the money! Highly recommend her!!! More...

We started when my son was 6 weeks, and Mary's warmth, talent, consistency helped my son and myself! I still use a lot of her songs to mark times of day (The Good Morning Song) or different outings (At the Farmer's Market). If you are a Mom and you have a kid, you need Miss Mary!!!  I taught music classes for years in another life and these are amazing.  I have 2 toddlers, but the class blends brilliantly with babies and older kids.   Perfect combination of music, a break for Mama to just hang with her kids (and not be the center of entertainment), learning and fun.  You can participate and sing your heart out or chill and take it all in with your little one.  New instruments for the kids to try out.  Fun dancing play.  New themes for each series, to get a little variety.  The whole class has a beautiful flow to it.  The songs she writes are our favorites.  And if you are having a birthday party, she is PERFECT!  Nice calm energy intertwined with fun and the most beautiful voice you've ever heard.
