ok so my hair was just long with no life. Yari cut me some long layers and gave me some advice at how often I should wash my hair and suggested some shampoos and products. The salon was a comfy seating area for my mom, it was quiet and tranquil, very clean, relaxing hair wash and she filled up my water bottle with cold water on a hot day. She was pleasant to talk too and I am super happy with my hair. The layers look cute even if my hair air dries and when I curled it last weekend, it was beautiful! Overall super happy and will def be returning when I need a trim again :) oh and the prices were great compared to other high end salons. Since I don't dye I don't need a haircut that starts at $75. I found some places that charged $35 for a wash/long hair but didnt want to risk it since they didnt have any reviews. Parking is right out front and theres lots of restaurants around and even some cool lil beer spot :) we ended going to the mall across the street and shopping til we dropped after :) Yari - the real MVP! My daughter and I needed a quick hair cut and base on reviews we found this place on yelp I called to see if there was any availabilty and we were able to walk in. Right away we got our haircut by Yari I just told her what we wanted and she did a great job! You can tell when someone knows how to cut hair, she was quick and skillful. I had a remarkable experience getting my hair done by Yuri! I made the mistake of dying my hair black in high school for a couple of years. For anyone who knows hair, you know that it's definitely a challenge to color correct after that. My hair was super damaged and  patchy from going to random hairdressers who didn't want to take the time to take on this project. It wasn't until I let Yuri work her magic on my hair, I was able to have a much SOLID lighter color! Yuri is a very heartwarming down to earth person. She's very honest and takes the time to educate you about the condition of your hair. Even though I took a chance on a new hair salon, I definitely felt like family when I left! Yari is amazing!  She has done my hair for years and knows exactly what to do to help me manage my hair which is wavy/curly and very thick.  I love getting the keratin blow out, it makes my hair silky smooth and so much easier to blow dry on a daily basis at home.  When I had it done the first time, I went to Mexico right after, even with all the humidity and being in the ocean, my hair looked great and was completely free of frizz.  She's very easy to reach, I just text her at 626-222-2914, and will get a reply quickly. I've been following my hair stylist, Lupe, for years now but I recently moved to San Diego and couldn't make it to her. Well what a big mistake that was! !!! I had my hair done at a different location and ended up having to drive to West Covina for her to fix it! Thank god that she can work miracles!!! My hair was horrible and nothing how I wanted it, but of course Lupe worked her magic and made it come back to life. I will never go anywhere else regardless of how far I have to drive to get to her. She is worth it. She is incredibly professional, friendly, and honest about what she can achieve with your hair. Lupe will always have your hair's integrity in mind. I have been going to get my hair done with Yari for years now. My family referred me to her and we all love her. She is great. She listens to what I want and makes it happen. I love that she is up to date with all the new haircuts and styles. She is so easy to talk to and I feel so comfortable with her. Her pricing is just right and she uses the best product for my hair. Suzette has been my Esthetistion for over 6 years.   I love her facial  and waxing techniques and the products she applies on my face. She Is very informative and it's always a very relaxing experience.  I get alot of complement on my skin.  Most people  do not belive I am 65 years old. :)  I am told I  look in my fiifthies.   I  get my facial with Suzette every six weeks.  Suzette is also an ausome make artist.   I love how she applys my make so effortless and that I come out looking  stunning. Love this place. Really cute salon. Great lighting. I had my makeup done by Suzette. I have never had my makeup professionally done and she made me feel very comfortable. First she picked up my vibe on my clothing and let me know what look she was going for. As she did my makeup she was hella sweet and has the sweetest voice. She also explained her products and suggested an economical brand for me. Followed my hairstyle Geselle to this salon. The salon is very cozy and decorative when you walk in. Geselle always goes above and beyond when doing my hair. This varies from coloring, treatments, and/or hair cuts. I always, always, always get a haircut from Geselle because she uses the "dry cut" method. So she is able to get all of my split and fried ends. Usually hairstylists at other places just cut your hair when it's wet, and that doesn't necessarily get all the damaged pieces off. So definitely stop by and get a cut from Geselle. On another note, I even convinced my mom and aunt to see Geselle, and now they're regulars! More...

sooooooo, first off YARI your the BESST! Before i came here my hair was HORRIBLE!!! idk what the other salon did to it but omg i wish i knew of this salon before i went there! This place was was amazing! I recently moved to the area and needed a cut. I've tried at three other locations around the area and was not happy with the outcome. This time I planned on just walking in to get a blow dry and style to test out the vibe of the place. Initially I had looked up on yelp Salon Paz and headed there to only be surprised all the hair dressers were men- regardless I asked if they would be able to take me in but they told me not until later so I left. As I was walking out I glanced towards the signs on the buildings and saw a pair of scissors and realized there was another salon...I hesitated but then said screw it let's check it out I'm already here. THANK GOD I did it! I was first approached by Yari and she was very nice. She did tell me it would be $45 but she could help me after she was finished with her current client and if I could wait a few minutes. This was much better than "not till later". So I decided to wait. I had already come in with my hair washed but they asked if I would mind having my hair washed again but with a mask. They washed then masked and stuck me under a hair dryer for a bit. Then when it was time they rinsed and brushed me out while I waited for Yari. Once she was ready for me she took one look at my hair and said "are you sure you don't want a hair cut?" I knew I needed one but was hesitant because of my recent hair salon mishaps. I explained this to her and she assured me that I came to the hair salon I needed to be and to just let her trim it up a bit. Once again THANK GOD I did. She did an amazing job on the cut, blow dry and curl. And that mask they used on my hair left my hair SILKY smooth and feeling healthy as can be. She did charge $75 for the cut, mask and style which wasn't really what I had anticipated on paying when my day started. However with the way my hair looked and felt afterwards it was totally worth it. I immediately booked my next appointment. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. Thank you so much!I also saw another post about this place not liking kids I had my two year old with me the entire time..granted my child was on her best behavior and I'll say "this time" because anyone with kids knows they have multiple personalities and you never know what your going to get lol. There was no feelings from anyone there having issues with my child there. Yari even allowed my daughter to eat her food there. There was also another girl about 6/7 getting a haircut there too. So maybe the other review was just having a bad day and the timing wasn't right with how their kid(s) behaved. More...
