We needed to move our daughter's possessions locally from storage to her new house.  We contacted Cardinal Moving to help us and we were happy we did.  The scheduling process worked fine and the crew arrived at the scheduled time to load.  The crew consisted of Alex R., Lee, Joey and Kyle F.  They were very professional in dimeaner, were very respectful and took great care with our possessions.  They worked efficiently and finished in less time than we expected.  We very much appreciated the work they did for us and would recommend Cardinal Moving to anyone. Play Louisville is the younger sibling of Play Nashville, but features the same great atmosphere, exciting shows, good drinks, cute staff, and hospitality. I've been a patron of Play Nashville for over a decade, and when Micah (my favorite bartender) left to move to Louisville and open the second location, I was stoked to be able to do a road trip to a place I knew I'd love. This location features a full restoration of the location to house a unique spot, and it shows that they put money into it to keep the decor refreshed and the bar clean. I'm not able to go out as much as I used to thanks to kids and work responsibilities, but I plan a trip with my husband or girlfriends to Play Louisville two or three times a year. No matter if I'm there with men or women, gay or straight, I am always treated with respect from the employees as well as the clientele. Even back in my younger days when I'd really tie one on, the folks around me were just like, "Oh sweetie.." LOL I'm so spoiled by going to this bar (both locations) that it's nearly impossible for me to go to another club for drinks and dancing. I have always really admired the atmosphere that Play has cultivated with folks of all ages. It's amazing to see young people so accepting and free and respectful. I've never been approached in a way that makes me uncomfortable at Play; elsewhere it's probably an almost-every-visit situation. Another thing I love about Play is that the ownership and staff is super involved in the LGBT community and charities in their area. All around just a fun, friendly place that I love to visit and support. I don't mind the cover charge and drink prices (I never thought they were that high but I guess to some they are?) because I'm provided with a safe, fun, hilarious experience every time. More...

Greetings, Sara Stanfield here....I am the President of the Department of Veterans Affairs Employee Association for the Louisville Regional Office. This year was our first year having a Holiday Christmas Party outside of work in over 12 years....so as you can imagine, expectations were high! We hired AxlJoe Music Entertainment!!! They were AMAZING! Definitely the life of the party! Joe and Diana saved my tail! Everyone was so happy and had a great time! They played wonderful music! I loved their selection! Literally, from toddlers to older people- there wasn't anything he couldn't play! It was a blast! I remember at one point during the party I was running around checking on guest and doing hostess stuff and hearing a song he played and thinking "omg, I love this song and haven't heard it in years!" I got so many compliments on his choice of music! The dance floor stayed busy! Also, I was scrambling to buy time with the kids before food was ready and they even played a game with the kids on the dance floor to keep them busy and it was so much fun! The parents got tons of cool pictures!     It was awesome! I will hire them from now on for all my events for sure! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them! Cardinal movers were wonderful! I had to move my father’s things out of the condo he lived in for 18 years after he went to assisted living. The guys stopped at Goodwill on the way to my house and helped me donate many items I couldn’t store. They took care with his things and were so careful. They were professional and extremely helpful. Recently got a team of two hard working gentleman named Chris Wingo and John to help me during my move! They moved me from a 3 bedroom town home into a 4 bedroom house in very little time! They were cautious with my things, efficient, and most importantly professional, during the entire process. I also want to give a special shout out to Brent Carneal. Ed was awesome to work with!  We hit it off on the phone immediately early on in my planning for our corporate 2019 holiday party at the Louisville Marriott Downtown.  I had not planned a party of this size before (220) and he shared ideas and things I hadn't thought about.  He listened to me and knew my 'vision' for the event.  He was professional, take charge but not over bearing,  he kept the party moving and kept things lively.  Music was great.  His interaction with the crowd was spot on.  He helped with dance floor games and those made our party fun and interactive.  I can't say enough good things about Ed.  He showed up on time and prepared.  Communication up to the event was just right.  Will use him next year if he's free.  Thanks Ed!!  Happy Holidays!! Truth be told I wasn't 100% sure I liked the concept of a silent disco. It seemed too "millennial" to me. (No, I'm not a boomer. ..but I am a Gen Xer.) Everyone in their own music world, dancing near each other but maybe not even to the same music. How could this concept really translate to a fun, shared experience with your friends Well I'm here to tell you my doubts were completely unfounded. Louisville Silent Disco is truly one of the must fun activities I have participated in, in a long while. I recently attended a free event at MileWide Brewery. For the exchange of your license you get a pair of headphones. There are three channels of music and last night each channel was curated by one of the breweries owners. I'm not shy when it comes to dancing but I was out with a friend who is definitely more reserved, but somehow the headphones gave her an experience where her inhibitions seemed to fade. I've never seen her groove like she did last night, even in dark nightclubs. The company is owned by an awesome husband and wife duo. Andrew has a true talent for DJing and Alexa is super friendly and patient when dealing with annoying slightly intoxicated people all night!If you get a chance to attend an event where Louisville Silent Disco is I HIGHLY encourage you to pop on a pair of headphones. The customer service really shines at Cardinal Moving. It's evident that they take it seriously.Why not five stars then? We discovered several items that were damaged in the move.But again, the saving grace was the customer service and the way they made the situation right. I would hire them again. My mother in law contracted with Cardinal Moving to move her items as well as my family's items into the house we were all moving into together. Cardinal Moving sent out three young men to help with our move. And it was a long day, considering the multiple stops and households. We filled their truck to the brim. And throughout, the men were in good spirits and eager to get to work. There were a few items that gave them some extra challenges. We were moving out of the second floor of a duplex that had tight doorways and stairs. An armoire in particular took all of their strength as well as some help from my husband. And our washer was difficult to get out of our basement. But the movers were friendly and helpful throughout.We knew that the armoire and washer sustained damage, so the head mover gave us an email to write to to have the items fixed. One thing I would urge Cardinal Moving to do is to give their crews more moving blankets. The men wrapped several of our items in plastic wrap, but that didn't seem to protect it well enough.After they left, we noticed damage on a headboard, filing cabinet, another armoire (we seem to have several of them), mattress and couch. We emailed with photos, and Cardinal Moving replied by setting up a time for a repairman to come by. I was worried that they would fight us on the repairs but happily they didn't. And the repairman was great. He fixed our furniture, and Cardinal Moving ended up writing us a check for the damage to the washing machine. Cardinal Moving was efficient and easy to work with and was able to move lots of heavy items. I don't plan to move again anytime soon, but if I need to, I'm calling them. More...
