My grandparents love this place! Really great service, complementary chips and salsa, and fun vibe/atmosphere. It is a little dark and a tad bit difficult to hear people if your pearly is larger than 5 and you aren't in a booth. The chips are good because they are thin and salty. They also make sure to bring out a second round after you've chowed on the first. My grandparents appreciate this. The family ordered queso. The queso blanco has nice flavor and comes out hot. Very great for a group. I ordered the chicken fajitas with borracho (means "drunk" in Spanish) beans -- pinto beans soaked in beer and cooked with different types of sausage and meat. They were pretty good! I still like the black beans the best. The chicken was REAL!! Yay! Some places have fake-tasting chicken for sure. This place has quality meat. The veggies with it were good. Lots of onions though, so beware if you are on a date!! This is great for groups, has nice Tex-mex kind of food, but is still closer to authentic then say Ted's or any other place. I am partial to authentic Mexican. Plus, $17 for fajitas seems a touch high for me even if the chicken is real. More...
