Q&As

I work with clients who want to achieve health and longevity. That includes strength, cardiovascular fitness, mobility, and balance, but also the overlooked aspects that contribute to health and longevity such as hydration, sleep, and non-exercise activity.

The initial steps with a client are always to build a solid foundation and simple health habits that will build a base that will make achieving their goals more attainable.

Consistency. Whatever shape your health, fitness, and body is in right now took time to get there. It didn't happen overnight. Just the same, it takes consistency and time to achieve the health, fitness, and aesthetic goals you want. There is no magic pill.

I love seeing the confidence boost people get when they start seeing results. I love it when a client tells me they did something that they hadn't previously been able to do - whether it be that they hiked a tough mountain or they easily lifted a couch.

I became a personal trainer in 2015 and spent almost 5 years training clients at a local commercial gym. It became evident that the only way I would be able to grow in my career at that gym was to take on more and more clients, which only would lead to burnout and unsatisfactory service to my clients. I wanted to focus on providing the best possible service to my clients, and starting my own business was the answer. I now am able to take on fewer clients and spend my extra time growing my knowledge and putting in extra time and effort to help each and every one of my clients achieve their goals.

As I mentioned earlier, my client base are those individuals who are looking to improve their health and longevity so that they can have more energy for their jobs, their friends and family, and for the activities and life experiences that make them happiest. In essence, so that they can live life to its fullest. Why? Because that's how I see life, and how I have been training myself as I've gotten into my 30's. I want to be able to play softball and other sports well into my 60's. I want to be able to spend 10 hours in a weekend spring cleaning my yard and still have plenty of energy to devote to quality time with family and friends. It makes me so sad when I hear people giving up on things they once loved to do or things they would like to do but can't or won't because their health doesn't allow it. We only get one shot at this life, and I've made it my purpose to help others enjoy as much of life as they can and not look back and have a long list of things they wish they had been able to do.

Yes. Longevity Online Coaching is really the most effective and affordable way I can offer my services as a health and fitness coach. As opposed to paying per session, which typically only allows people to train 1-3 times per week before it gets too costly, Online Coaching allows you to have a full training program for about the same cost as training only 1 hour in-person each week. With Online Coaching, I'm like your very own virtual personal fitness consultant...here for your every health and fitness need!

Basically: everything I do with my in-person clients, except done through the web via email, text, and an easy to use app on your phone!

The facility I train clients out of, PIT Fitness, is a by appointment only fitness studio. What that means is that the only people allowed in the building are the trainers and their clients. Since reopening, I have never been in the space with more than 12 people in a 3,500 square foot facility. If training between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, it's often just me in there or me and one other trainer. So it's like we have an entire 3,500 square foot gym all to ourselves. Additionally, we follow all general protocols for health, safety, and cleanliness, and have an air filtration system. With over 7,000 check-ins since reopening, there have been zero COVID outbreaks originating from our space.

For Online Coaching, you have the freedom of training from your home, your local fitness center, or wherever else you would like to do your workout.
