Disappointed. Flavorless food. We ordered Biria plate, it was just blah, like boiled hospital food. For $17 the portion size was small. Chips came without the salsa (although we were charged for it) Quesadilla was falling apart and not good. They charged us $2 for sour cream on the side Customer service sucks. I ordered the papusas and they were delicious. The pickled cabbage was fire! But I want to highlight their sauces. Whatever was in their special salsa and that creamy spicy lime concoction was addictive! Mmmmm mmm good!!!

While the food is great, the customer service SUCKS! Â I come here at least once a week as I work nearby, every single time I came in, I would ask for an extra cup of habanero and this lady at the front would make it next to impossible to get an extra cup of sauce! Â I've reached a threshold where I feel I don't even want to support this business especially during covid- over a cup of damn sauce! Â She'd much rather lose a customer over a cup of sauce. I ordered chips and salsa (I didn't get any salsa). Â Cheese enchiladas with red sauce (it came with green sauce) and albondigas soup. I'm giving 4 stars because the soup was excellent and the enchiladas were good even though the cheese was not melted. Â The food didn't have any spice at all. Â Which is good for my aging stomach. Â I do like a bit of spice even if it gives me heartburn. Â The chips alone tasted a little like old oil. Â If you're looking for great chips try the house made chips at Good Earth. Â I'm in search for the perfect cheese enchilada with red sauce. Lolas has been my staple while working in Tiburon. I would eat here at least once a week and always always enjoyed my food. Her asada tacos are flavorful, fresh, and filled with delicious meat and pico de Gallo. The best part of Lola's is her delicious salsa it is literally addicting. I have bought the to go containers so I can have some at home when I'm unable to eat at Lola's. Besides the delicious food, Lola and her family are so sweet always making me feel right at home whenever I was dining in. The tables outside were wet and the staff did not bother to at least ensure they were wiped clean as out two-person party sat down. We asked for a towel and we cleaned our space ourselves. The food orders were placed in to-go containers. We ate there but upon wanting to throw our trash away, we had to discard our trash a full 40 yards down the street, the closest trash can. I had been eyeing this spot for a while to try and glad I finally made it out to get some lunch here. I was so happy with the tacos I got, all were pretty dang amazing. Also, the SALSA here is incredible. I could have eaten a whole jar of it... you need to try it, get the chips and salsa side it's worth it. The tacos are all fresh and made to order, awesome authentic taste. Taking out from here and bringing the food to the grass downtown tiburon by the water is awesome. Just happened to stumble on this place after recently moving to Tiburon and craving a good Mexican restaurant.
