Ernie and David did such a wonderful job making our wedding flawless. They assisted with everything from the planning and order of events to finding lighting that matched our decor. I cannot say enough good things about DJ Ernie Houle. My husband and I got married last night and our guests were pulling me aside to rave about how great he was! He was so easy to work with before the wedding and exceeded my expectations during the wedding. I would recommend Locomotion DJ to anyone! Ernie was very quick to answer my emails from the first day to the wedding day! The songs that I couldn't find, he found and confirmed they were the correct version! (Trust me, we had some odd songs!) He takes requests the day of the wedding if you want, which for me was perfect! We had a smaller wedding and just about everyone got up and danced at one point or another! Stop looking for your DJ right now! If Ernie and Dave are available on your wedding day or event than book them..now! I've used Locomotion DJ's for two events: my engagement party, and for our wedding. Ernie is the consummate professional. He can play any music and provides other services as well - uplighting, karaoke. etc., We were fortunate to have both a live band and Ernie as a our DJ. He worked with them seamlessly and was also a great MC. This is not a side job for Ernie. He does this full time and the experience that this has provided definitely shown through our entire event. Our wedding, was Ernie's first Cambodian wedding and it presented no problems to him at all. I know that if I ever need a DJ for any future event that it will Locomotion DJ Productions that I will be looking to hire!

Dj Ernie Houle was the DJ at our wedding reception. When we first met with Ernie it was clear that this was the guy for the job. Music is his life. Not just whats the hottest song out right now, but the bpm of a song, how the songs he plays relate to each other, this guy pays attention to detail. Being a music person myself, it was nice to see someone passionate about what he does. The only flip side to that is that being a DJ is Ernie's job. So trying to lock down a time to meet is a little difficult because he is in such high demand on the weekends. But he was willing to conference call with us and it was all good!

Ernie kept our guests, family and friends on the dance floor all night long! He tripped up one transition but Im sure I was the only one who noticed. He did let us know ahead of time that he wasnt going to playing songs with a lot of swears, which wasnt a problem until he played a song by Jay Z. Rather than play the clean version of the song, the edits were sloppy and very intrusive. He then transitioned into a song called Watch Me (Whip/ Nae Nae) which we had specifically asked him not to play during the reception. Ernie lost a few points there. He also didnt play any of the songs I requested, not one, and I was the Groom! My guess is he mightve thought that my requests didnt fit the mood. But, Vanilla Ice at your reception is never a good idea and repeating a song 10 minutes after its first played is a DJ no-no and not a mistake I expected from him.

Overall, Ernie did exactly what we hired him to do, keep the dance floor moving all night long! He was very professional while on site and we had a lot of guests compliment on what a great job he did keeping the party moving. Ernie was the DJ and provided up-lighting for my wedding in September 2011. He did such an amazing job! He conducted himself in a highly professional manner, meeting with me and keeping in contact to make sure that my wedding went smoothly. I cannot remember a second of my wedding where my guests weren't on the dance floor. Ernie created a fun and exciting environment for everyone, all my guests from the young children to our grandparents were dancing the night away. Ernie really knows how to provide a fun time for an exceptional price that really worked with my budget. We would highly recommend Dj Ernie's dj services! He made our whole experience very comfortable, and easy to enjoy. He was super accommodating and flexible, and he played every song we requested and also our families requests. I do not have enough words for Ernie and Dave! they were amazing! They made changes on the fly, and if they saw something that would help the timeline they would ask me if i wanted to make the change. One thing that I really appreciate is that they saw i only had my photographer for 4 hours and knew that there was time to do the parents dances between meal courses so they made that change without me even asking just so my photographer could get pictures of the dances.The dance floor was packed all night, everyone had a blast.
