What an incredible surprise. Not only were they the only one open in the area at 10pm (which isn't late for someone from ny) but the service was friendly, attentive and happy even when they were about to close. The FOOD.....wow! Came here as soon as they opened and sat outside. Didn't really mind that it was by the road since there was a wall of plants separating the dining area. Had the ribeye with mashed potatoes and onions. Perfectly medium rare! There was also a bread basket (sooo good) with some aioli.Overall it was a pleasant experience. Just on Monday, my coworker told me that Argentineans make the best steaks. My partner and I came to visit Miami for MMW just two days after. Low and behold, Lo de Lea was walking distance from our Airbnb. An excellent opportunity to check the validity of my coworker's claim while still fresh on my mind. She was definitely right. That steak was cooked to perfection, covered in my favorite sauce ever (Roquefort Sauce), great sides, and great portion size. My partner got the empanada as an appetizer and said it was amazing. Reasonably priced for steaks in a city like Miami. Very flexible menu with choices of sides. Was a lovely evening and was exactly what we were looking for. And yes Argentineans make the best steaks! Adorable little spot. Had a little time to kill and stopped in for a glass of wine and had a lovely experience.Very small. A little seating inside and a little outside. I sat on the front patio, which was loud bc it's right on US-1, but I enjoyed anyway. Space heater was nice on a chillier evening.Service was very pleasant. The ladies who work here were very sweet and attentive. Enjoyed my Malbec and my cute little bread bites. Not very vegetarian friendly, but it's to be expected at an Argentinian place. Tried this place just riding down biscayne and it was very homey and great customer service! I had the ahi tuna salad with grilled zucchini. fantastic meal, really enjoyed the zucchini and the salad was fresh. my partner had the spaghetti and it was below average, the taste just wasn't really there. i would go back to try the short rib or steak. overall you will enjoy! the mayo garlic sauce for the bread was great! Excellent food by surprise! I came here with my husband who is Argentinian. His friend worked for this restaurant before. So I tagged along ! The muscles are delicious. Very fresh and great sauce.
