I paid for the course and asked a question also sent an email. No reply. The videos on youtube are good. The course has some more organization to it to help understand the framework of his philosophy but I feel like I need more specific help. At least it has got me down a path to do some more research. I was hoping there was more in the course. I know there are guidelines given but application is what I need. I feel confident that dr. Jenkins could raise my children perfectly but still feel I can not. So in that sense I don't feel I've been equipped with enough tools which is what I was looking for. I am a born again Christian so a part of me also wishes more was said about lds so I would know before buying even tho it doesn't seem to really be any part of the curriculum but at the same time I just feel a little underwhelmed. Although everything said in the course is true and affirming. In some of his videos he has other experts there so that also indicated to me that his tools are more focusing on the parent and their well being and coping skills and the children part is secondary. I do find myself even now saying some of his oft repeated aphorisms like your job is to love your child no matter what and even if. That came into my brain yesterday as my 9 yo ran around the house screaming bc she couldn't play her new flute right. I did my best but I'm looking for other answers now.
