Best bar for small kids in houston. Playground is enclosed and clean with nearby tables and lights to keep playing into the evening. Inside had lots of tv's for sports and some for cartoons. Great food and beer selection! The wait staff is tremendous! They are welcoming and attentive. Nice atmosphere and kids are welcome (I think dogs are welcome, too). The beer is cold, service is pretty good, and it’s one of the only places around that’s as fun for the kids As it is for the adults. There is a great playground and open area for kids of all ages to play on while the adults relax and supervise. Only 4 stars because the food itself is OK, not great. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. We had our son's first birthday there. Waitress was very attentive and quick with orders and even helped store the cake in their cooler until we were ready for it. You can expect friendly service and tasty casual menu options. The fried chicken salad we ordered was delicious as was the grilled fish, rice, and broccoli, a healthier option. The kiddos had fries and chicken tenders. We were all pleased with our choices. After dinner, we took the kiddos outside to the playground where we enjoyed sitting under the beautiful live oak trees. My boyfriend and I visit here regularly and sit on the patio. Overall service is really good, and the patio is dog friendly so we bring our German Shepherd. Depending on time of day there are children on the playground and several dogs on the patio. The food is B+, they have some cool things on the menu like beignets sometimes and fresh sriracha pork rinds. The burgers are good too.
