You get pretty huge portions and most of the dishes are shareable. Good quality food and quite reasonable prices. It wasn’t noisy and the music level was low enough to hear each other.

It would be cool if in the “breakfast served all day” section they denoted the yogurt/fruit service ends at 11am. Slightly annoying when restaurants are above making any modifications whatsoever as they were with the first itemI tried to order but such is life. If you are looking for something unique and delicious this is the place I love Little Goat Diner. The servers are great, the food is delicious honestly the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because upon arrival they told be the wait would be over 4 hours. Neat restaurant, located in an area with other great restaurants, nice and friendly staff. The Items in the Menu are Asian cusine inspired with a few southern comfort dishes( Shrimp & Grits) really good. My favorite so far is the Pork Belly Pancake, nicley cooked and smoked pork Belly(chunk of bacon with meat) on top of a really delicious scallion filled frien pie/pancake, with some shredded cabbage( cole Slaw type) on top. Can I just say- wow. I had heard the hype around the restaurants that this amazing bad*** chef was creating. So much so, that I moved my train back several hours so I could experience it for myself. It was a culinary experience. Where do I start? First of all, I love the cute environment of the restaurant. It does make you feel like you're in your local diner (except cleaner and there are no health code violations). The restaurant serves breakfast all day --what could get better than that? I'm not ashamed to say,  I love me a good parfait which gets snubbed by the brunch crowd. This shamed breakfast item brought a sensation of ecstasy to even the biggest non believers. Heaven was shining on every bite of that tangy lemony Greek delight. Next, let's talk bullseye french toast. "Where did my eggs go?," one may ask. It's incepted your toast *shook*. Love their touch on the casual american fare. Portions are massive as you'd expect on the Midwest. Went for the fries and Hot Crab Dip for the munchies that I cannot recommend enough. Crispy Creole Chicken Sandwich (Sammywich) paired up nicely as the entree of choice with the sides. I just moved to Chicago and this was the first place I went to eat! Great first impression! Loved the decor -- it's super hip. Also the staff is very friendly and accommodating of allergies. I ordered the braised beef sandwich. Very flavorful and tender meat! Also loved that it came with avocado and almost like a Cole slaw. The only critique i have is that the sandwich was so loaded the bread became a little soggy. We also shared the smoked fries as a side and I loved the smoky flavor! So unique! I definitely want to come back to try their breakfast dishes! Update: I did go back to try a breakfast dish! I ordered the bull's eye French toast which was delicious. And so hearty that I couldn't finish it all. I enjoyed it because it had a little bit of everything and lots of delicious flavors. The toast was a sweet onion brioche (loved the brioche texture, not super onion-y) that had just the right amount of syrup so that it wasn't too sweet or soggy. I loved the over-hard egg baked in the middle (usually it's served over-easy). On top were sliced strawberries and cut pieces of fried chicken.
