We were married on Monday April 10, 2023. When we reserved and made our request for our officiant to be a male, it was made clear to us that it was his day off, and I made a point to remember this inconvenience on his part. I also made mention that we would only be interested in the video and no need for a photographer. The above mentioned details are what I want you to keep in mind as I make my point: officiant's time disruption for his day off, and initial decision to have little need for anything else but a video. I will begin with the video. First of all - it was NOT a live stream. Second - it was filmed using only ONE camera angle. I was expecting the video to be multi-angle, as seen in other videos. When it became obvious after the ceremony that our virtual guests were not able to share the moment with us, my witness as well as others tried to notify your staff. My witness tried to discuss this with your staff, as they insisted that it was streaming and the video was uploaded, but my witness had to explain over and over that it was NOT! Meanwhile as this argument on my behalf was taking place, my husband and I reviewed the photography. We then found ourselves deciding to get the FULL photographic package, in addition to the video which was our INITAIL PRIMARY INSISTANCE. At this point, I would like to convey our happiness with the photographer. He went above and beyond at our request, obliging with a few additional pictures that were not able to be taken during our ceremony. Which leads me to my second point of dissatisfaction with the officiant and ceremony to include the exchange of rings. I am not sure how/why there was a disruption in our request and communication to have an exchange of rings performed. I will assume this became confusing to your staff as they heard our wedding party discuss the groom's neglect to remember the bride's ring. I assume the staff made a decision based upon overhearing, but NOT by any means for us to ELIMINATE that part of the ceremony! I assume this upon your staff as unbeknownst to them, WE THE WEDDING PARTY had already made our own plans to make sure that we would still EXCHANGE RINGS! The bride still had the grooms wedding ring to give, and the groom was going to use another ring as a replacement. That was our plan, as well as sending one of our guests back to the hotel to retrieve the ring, and perhaps arrive back in time. The guest and bride's ring did arrive back in short time, in fact ---- in time for the photographer to take lovely pictures or our "fake exchange" after the fact. I realize that the officiant was inconvenienced for a short period of time on his day off, but there was absolutely no concession made for us. There was NO DISCUSSION about this revocation of exchange of rings! There was no conversation or concession to be considered for a slight delay, or to make him aware of "our back up plans". Somehow this decision to eliminate the exchange of rings was made - BUT NOT BY US! I am TERRIBLY disappointed with the ceremony and the video. It did NOT capture at all what I was expecting my special ceremony day to be. I will be adding this bad review to other media platforms. We paid a great deal for elevated services, to be sure we got exactly what we wanted, and even provided gratuity as we were made to feel it was required. However, that gratuity was undeserved and the customer service was appalling. I am the type of person who will not allow myself to be upset about these unfortunate circumstances on the day of our vow exchange. All I ask from a business is to be honest in your dealings with others. When you aren't, it may lead to short-term financial gains, but there are also other implications to be had. ..in small part, a google review like mine:Our wedding was last week, and we chose this church for a reason. It's truly iconic, the location is beautiful, and the staff was fantastic. I don't need to convince anyone of that. You can discern that from all the other reviews.With that said, people also choose this place because it's an inexpensive alternative to having a large-scale wedding. The price we paid was for the $395 wedding package. Quite the bargain to runaway and elope in a place as magical as Vegas. We were told, as part of the package, there would be a $100 credit towards the purchase of photos of the ceremony. In follow-up phone correspondence, we asked for clarity, and were told we would be able to purchase the photos we wanted and utilize our credit. In retrospect, the conversation was intentionally vague. As most logical people would be led to assume, it would be an a la carte purchase, and that was our mindset going in, that we would only purchase about THAT amount, or a little over for a few of the best photos from the ceremony.Fast forward to the wedding day. It was absolutely fantastic. Everything went as planned, in fact, in many ways, it was better than expected. The photo shoot at the end was terrific, and the photographer was both professional and humorous. At the conclusion, he led us to a small room, wedding dress and suit on, and we were told there were 108 usable photos and were presented with three packages to choose from. Each one had its own bells and whistles, and I can't regurgitate the details here, but they ranged from the $500 range to the $300 range, AFTER our, "$100," credit. Might I add, we were NEVER shown these options in advance...this was the first time seeing them. We were asked to decide immediately in his presence, with the assumption that if we don't choose one of the three, you get no photos at all. I can't imagine how many people had to go that route. After a few minutes, naturally, as I'm sure many have also done, we chose to go with the most expensive package, which with tax, came to about $600.The question I want answered: why aren't you honest and share the details of this package in advance? Never mind, I know the answer: you know exactly what you are doing, and I'm quite certain you've perfected the entire process. I read in another review where the owner responded with, "the packages are found in the FAQ section of their website." Why is that never mentioned in any correspondence? Price and packages is a pretty big thing to leave out. In my opinion it's slimy, shady, greedy, manipulative, and in many ways exposes the dark underbelly of Vegas for what it's capable of being...crooked. I know it's a one-time purchase, and return customers aren't your thing, but who you are and how you run your business is a reflection of what you stand for, as well as the people who run the day-to-day operations. It was no big deal for us, sure the wallet was $600 lighter, and we got more photos and even a video that we didn't expect, but I can't stop thinking of how many people must have been in that office who didn't have the extra money. Of all the days in someone's life to play the role of crook, outside of their funeral, I'd say the wedding day is one to keep your greedy, pilfering hands out of.From a business perspective, my recommendation would be to immediately change how you present the purchase of photos to paying customers. It may seem paradoxical, but if you tell people what to expect up front, they would be even more than willing to pay a higher price rather than tricking them into getting a little extra cash. To paraphrase, do the right thing.To top it off, they had the audacity to ask me to write a Google review. We came out to Vegas on a mini sporadic vacation. We we're headed to Victor Ville, and decided to drive the 2 more hours to Vegas since my boyfrind(at the time) had never been. .. Then we decided to get married while here and we liked the dat 11/12/2020.. So we choice the closest one which was little church of the west. I went to their website and Tracey popped on and asked if I had any questions. So I asked her if we could get married right now, tonight??? She asked if we had our marriage license already and I said yes... Yes we could get married that nighy... We just had to pick a package and pay... She asked if she can call me to get information, so when we arrive to the parking lot I said yes but we're in the parking lot and she said come on In... Usually when someone's on line to help on the website it's a robot or someone at home far away... Tracey was at her desk in the office at the Little church of the west, she said then come on in!!! She was quick, and friendly and informative!!! The minister and photographer got there in 15mins and we where ready to go... The ceremony was quick and cute, The photographer was quick and good knew was he was doing was clear in directions and flow to the next pose. package prices we're s little steep but we got the biggest one anyway!!! My husband and I got married here yesterday and I have to say the staff there went above and beyond in customer service! They made our day nothing but but pure happiness! Our photographer especially was so kind and helpful to us, we had so much fun taking photos with her!! Thank you for being so amazing! My parents got married here 25 years ago so it was great to have such a wonderful experience in the same place! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a little chapel in the area! This place was amazing! We toured the facilities and the little church is beautiful. They have a garden option but we went for the chapel venue. The prices were fair and Yvette was very knowledgeable. They took care of everything. Also, their photography packages are reasonable. They offer lifetime storage, which is what we went with in case anything happens to our current pictures. Our photographer whose name I can't remember was great! The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because they didn't give us our champagne bottle to celebrate on our way back to our hotel room. They ended up giving us 2 bottles when I called to ask what happened. Still doesn't make up for taking that experience from us. More...

The pictures that were part of the headliner package were of very poor quality. They were out of focus and very difficult to get to. We were supposed to have 2 bottles of champagne "in" the limo after the wedding. the driver did not know anything about this. They did give us 4 bottles of champagne, but this was after our limo ride and we had to go back to the property to get it. Frankly we were disappointed in the experience especially with the overall cost. We got married here on 2.29.2020 and our experience was far from perfect. It seems everyone's reviews here are positive, which was one of the main reasons we chose to get married here. My wedding planner was Nicole and she said the whole ceremony would be about 20-30 mins. She also said to be there 30 to 15 mins before, our wedding was at 8pm. So we booked our limo service at 7:30 pm to get us there at 7:45pm at the latest (we stayed very close to the church). I got a call a day before from some other girl saying that we had to be there at 7:30 pm and I told her what Nicole had confirmed with me and that I had already booked the limo and it was to late to move. She was really rude about it - like I had no choice because 2.29 was a very busy day for them and we would have to adjust or we could lose our spot. We had to change our plans to adjust to them when it was them that misinformed us. So, my husband had to leave earlier to be there. The ceremony lasted less than 10 minutes and they rushed all our guest out of the church immediately after it ended, like no joke they just said everyone please step outside while we were left standing at the altar. At first I thought they would make our guests wait for us outside the Chappel while they played the music for us to walk out but no they made them leave from the Chappel area. They totally cut the moment short. We didn't get to hug or see them until after 20 - 25 minutes later after they made us go through a photo shoot that we didn't even want. We didn't ask for photos and Nicole said that there would be a photographer that would take pics and it would be optional to do a photo shoot - which I specifically said we didn't care for. Every time we tried to cut the photographer off he would insist that it would be quick! Being our wedding day we didn't want to get upset with the guy but we just wanted to be with our family and guests, not be on a photo shoot. Then the photographer made us walk all the way into this office to see the pictures and anxiety started getting to me because we wanted to get back with our group. He kept saying it would be quick. My husband asked if we could review the pics later online or come back and the photographer said no that we had to look through them right there and then, that was the only option and "it would be quick" - by that time it was already 8:34 pm and we had to make it to our dinner reservations at 9:00 pm. There was another lady on the computer and we had to wait for her to finish for the photographer to start loading the pics. He said we had a credit for 2 pics and that every other pic was $50 so by this time we just wanted to leave and we didn't have time to look through all the pics. The 30 minutes was time invested on that photo shoot and making us walk to their office to see pictures we didn't even want - this was not what we had planned AT ALL! All this "wedding planner" is total BS because nothing of what we had agreed on was what we got. I never even met Nicole. We just wanted to get back to our group and go to our dinner - we ended up paying $375 to be able to kindly leave and stop this guy on insisting we look through all the pics. He asked us for our emails to send them to us within the next 24 hrs and made us sign this receipt that gives us rights to use the pics and makes it look like legit exclusivity to access them - 72 hrs after we have not received any emails with pictures. Turns out, all our pics are online on their website available for purchase! Like seriously We were totally taken advantage by this place. We expressed our limited time and that we didn't want any pictures and they pushed and manipulated them on us. The photographer could have said that we could review them later and purchase them online but he didn't which is a very sketchy and deceiving sales move. I sent an email to Nicole on Sunday and she hasn't replied. I wanted to post this review so other couples can be aware of how this business cunningly manipulates your special day to get more money out of your pocket. More...

My parents were married here in 1954, one of the reasons we chose Little Church of the West. The building and ceremony was great! The photographer, and the limit to how many guests we had and that we were prohibited from taking photos on the grounds not so good. The photos they took were not good at all, bring your own photographer for sure! The rule of how many guests you can have attend according to the package you pay for needs to be done away with. Why does it matter if the benches inside are always in place ready to accomodate as many guests as the building allows. We were asked to view a horrendous amount of super expensive awful wedding pictures after the ceremony, leaving our guests outside alone and wanting to congratulate us and celebrate with us. Not professional at all. I wouldn't change a thing, due to the fact that this was a sentimental place for us to wed, but some policies and procedures need to change to make it the happiest day for all couples choosing this wonderful location. I would like to say HUGE THANKS to Katelyn Harr who was our photographer at Little Church of the West. I have to say that Katelyn is a TRUE professional, she just "feels" how you would look great and help you with hints. Our pictures were awesome despite we didn't prepare too much in advance.
