I was happy to find a small-town bar! This is a place to unhook from technology (small TVs that weren’t on when we were there). Was not busy at all on Black Friday at dinner time. Staff were super friendly! I had the eggplant appetizer and side Caesar salad. I love eggplant, so I loved this dish. The Lacuesta family LOVES Lil' Bo! The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and quirky and reminds me of some of my favorite places back home in TN. The food...oh, the food! We always try to make a stop to this gem every time we come to TC. Nancy is always a riot and love chatting with her. My husband had the perch with her homemade tartar sauce and slaw. Amazing!!! The food was good. We followed the owner recommendations, as she attended our table. Overall it was a good experience. We were just surprised as, while leaving the place, the owner came out and complained about the tip. (Not enough...we did not get our math right...so use your calculator!). This is the first time I ever got a tip from a waitress!I'm from Las Vegas, and they were playing Elvis on the music. The waitress gave me an "I love Elvis" bumper sticker. The food was excellent the service was good. We had Beef Stoganoff, the eggplant appetizer and the perch dinner. I had beef stroganoff. It was really yummy and obviously homemade. The carrot cake for dessert was to die for..best in my whole life! For all the people giving negative reviews about the service...I had great service. If you are a fussy, prissy person you should not come here, or get a life. You get back what you send out...if you like your *ss to be kissed when you go out to dinner...you are more likely to get it kicked in this joint.
