Lindsey Taylor was our photographer for our June wedding in Chicago and I cannot recommend her enough! She is extremely organized, professional, hardworking and so kind. I found Lindsey’s professional photography account on Instagram and was really impressed with her photo style (classic, happy, bright, romantic, and timeless). We set up a coffee meeting and I immediately felt so comfortable with her. We discussed her style, viewed her portfolio and talked logistics. After talking with various photographers who were rather pushy and full of themselves, I was so happy to not only see that Lindsey’s portfolio was exactly the style wedding photos I wanted but that she was so down-to-earth and friendly. Lindsey made the entire contract process easy from booking to payments. Lindsey stayed in contact with me throughout the wedding planning process, often communicating via email or Instagram, sending reminders ahead of time, and being sure to ask all the right questions to understand what kind of photos we wanted. She actually made a better wedding day timeline than some of other vendors (who were hired to do just that)! On the day-of, Lindsey and her assistant showed up on time, with smiles on their faces and eager to get to work! They got started without any real direction needed from me (which was nice because I wanted to hang out with my family while getting ready). Having not even seen any of the photos yet, both my husband and I walked away from our wedding day saying how perfect Lindsey was. She was extremely easy-going and didn’t make us feel awkward and we truly felt like our normal selves. It even poured during our one-on-one bride/groom photos downtown, and every single person who sees the photos gasps with how stunning they are. She got every photo on our shot list and more! We came away with a perfect mix of posed shots, candid moments and candid moments. All are extremely timeless, happy, sharp and romantic. Nothing is overly edited and we received just the right amount of photos back. When I look at the photos, I feel like I am there in person again from getting ready, first looks, special moments and the party! I highly, highly recommend working with Lindsey Taylor for any special moments that you’d like captured! More...

Lindsey made our engagement shoot so seamless. What felt like 30 minutes of photos was already two hours that flew by from how much fun we were having~ then getting the photos back~ I was in awe and stunned at how perfect they all were. She not only did a great job at the shoot but got the photos to us so quickly and perfectly edited to bring out the special part of the shoot without over doing it!
