What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I think the true secret is truly knowing your client and what they are looking for. The more comfortable they are in the environment, their outfit, and with you, the more authentic the photos will be, and the more emotion and personality you’ll see in them! Isn’t that what photos are all about? Remembering the physical moment, but capturing the way it feels? When you look back on a senior photoshoot, you want to feel the excitement of a chapter closed and a new one beginning. When you look back on a wedding or engagement shoot, you want to remember the love and joy that filled the day. That’s the secret - immortalizing the emotion within the moment.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I always preface any photoshoot with a phone call, email, or coffee conversation to get to know the client. I ask them what inspiration they may have, what kind of expression they want the photos to have, what locations they may be partial to. We cover time of day and lighting, editing preferences, outfit colors and coordination, and any additional requests they may have. I love it when clients come with some Pinterest inspiration - I’m a very visual person (I know, who’d have guessed), so being able to see the vision with the client helps me to ensure that I am providing them with the experience and results that they are looking for.
What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting new people, and I love being able to capture the special moments in their lives. It doesn’t always have to be a big occasion! I had my photos taken for my 25th birthday just for fun, because I always felt like 25 was such a big milestone. It was so much fun, and such a confidence booster! I love being able to provide that for my clients, and make some new friends in the process.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have dreamt for years of being my own boss. I’ve worked in corporate management for a long time, and I’ve found that a lot of life tends to just fly by when you’re working that 9-5 schedule doing something you aren’t fully passionate about. Opening my own business has allowed me to do what I love, while also allowing me the flexibility to be able to volunteer in various areas at my church, which I am also extremely passionate about. What a blessing to be able to live out this dream!

I believe that two things are vital when choosing a service provider of any kind: quality of work, and quality of person. Integrity and honesty are the most important qualities in a human, and are even more important in a service provider and business owner. My biggest priority is client satisfaction, and going above and beyond in order to achieve it. This is why I provide consultations, communicate constantly, and do my very best to stay flexible and available for questions, changes, and concerns!

Wedding Photography

* Cost includes hourly photography services, producing roughly 75-150 photos per hour, as well as photographer travel and editing time.
* Complimentary client appointment prior to the event to review any requests, needs, specifications, etc is included.
* Client can expect a predetermined number of edited images returned to them via Google Drive link, as well as any additional preferred delivery method (i.e. flash drive, etc). Estimated turnaround time is 10-14 business days.

We offer a 90-minute photoshoot at your location of choice, and you will receive anywhere from 80-120+ edited images back via a digital file. Can’t decide what to wear? No problem! Unlimited outfit changes are included with this session.
Engagement Photoshoot

Couples will receive a 90-minute photoshoot at their location of choice, and can expect to receive anywhere from 80-120+ edited images back via a digital file.
