Thanks for a great dinner tonight - the day after Christmas meant nobody wanted to cook but we were still feeling celebratory and wanted a nice meal. Liliana’s was perfect. Quick and friendly on the phone, drive thru window is handy (yes, we were feeling remarkably lazy and it’s a great option if you’re dragging little ones out to grab the food or if you are avoiding entering establishments). Ordered calamari, lasagna, chicken spedini, garlic cheese bread, and Matt’s wings. Everything was hot, fresh and tasted great. Very generous portions and the order was well-packed and 100% correct. Loved loved loved the wings, Lasagna was exceptional and be sure to try the Mayfair dressing for the salad. I would put their STL thin crust pizza against any in the area. Lots of toppings, authentic taste, and very fresh. I tried the toasted ravioli and it was unexplainable. ..seemed like it was made from scratch which I give kudos but just didn't have a good taste. House salad is a solid choice as well. Ordered carry out during the pandemic. Sandwiches were excellent. Pizza was amazing but crust was a little thick/chewy. I would order it again though. Ingredients were obviously fresh. Pasta was ok - not great flavor. Team members interacting with public wire masks. None of the employees preparing food wore masks - this seems like a no brainer to address. I want to preface this statement by saying Lilliana's is currently my favorite food destination in the StL. But, tonight I ordered and I was disappointed. Consistency is what I look for and this was not. I only ordered t-ravs and a meatball sandwich. When I showed up to pick it up I was rolled they did not have meatballs. Disappointing they did not have what I wanted but then for the ravs to be burnt and the pasta salad to not have the normal red wine vinegar was disappointing. My wife and I tried Liliana's Friday evening. The reviews were good and when I got there for carry out the place was packed, so I thought this should be good. We ordered an Italian chef salad, an order of fried artichoke hearts and a The Don sandwich. When I got there they told me they were out of arugula, there are over a dozen items on the menu with arugula, how does that happen? They substituted romain and I went on my way. When I got home and unwrapped the sandwich it had no pastrami on it and no red onions, which I asked them to add...maybe she didn't here me add the red onions, I checked the receipt, nope they charged me for the onions. My wife did like her salad and the artichokes, but The Don was subpar... we'll probably give it another shot, but at those prices...the devil is in the details. More...

First time ordering here from here and everything we received was outstanding! The Tenderloin Sandwich and fried artichoke hearts were both really something special. We love this place this it is a hidden gem that we tell everybody about. The portions are insane. The prices are right. Do yourself a favor and don’t make a trip down to the Hill just stop by this gem in South County. Timmy and his team are the best. Their lobster pizza is slice of heaven. We had about 30 out of town guest that we made a special reservation for. They nailed it....the food was incredible, fast service and the best waitress in town. We just picked up from Lilliana's for our 2nd time. OMGosh! It did not disappoint. I had the same thing as last time (a couple of months ago), the Paulie Sandwich and the truffle fries with fried spinach and my husband got the Caesar salad with fried calamari added, all of it was so so good. I know my meal was so fattening but if you're going to give yourself a treat every few months this was so worth it. My husband still has pumpkin cheesecake to try but it looks really good too. Liliana's is still a solid five. It's a favorite meal out for my wife and I. We were in a couple weeks ago and I had the seafood cannelloni with extra seafood and it was fantastic. One of my relatives visited this restaurant recently and said that the pasta dishes were very good. We arrived at 5:30PM on a Wednesday and were promptly seated. We had limited time to eat so we each ordered Rigatoni, she with red chicken sauce, I got garlic shrimp cream sauce.We were served in about 15 minutes, each of us getting a good sized portion on a platter. We both took leftovers home. She told me the red sauce was good but not extraordinary. The cream sauce is a different story. It is made with fried spinach and roasted redd peppers. It has a pale pink color to it. It is rich and delicious.Ashley S was our server and she gave us good service. It was she who recommended the dish I ordered. Next visit, lunch for a sandwich.Now that the dining room is open again I went for a sandwich at dinner time. I got the Pastrami "Italiano"! It is served warm and with a side. It consists of roaster pastrami, crispy bacon, roasted red peppers and arugula. It is dressed with a vinaigrette applied perfectly. It does not overwhelm the natural flavors in the sandwich, it complements them! The kitchen turned it out in no more than 10 minutes. Service was good again but I did not get the server's name. The receipt tells me the cashier is Lily on 7/14/20 at 4:18pm.This place will be one I visit often in the future. More...

I ordered a lunch for my office at the beginning of Covid when all the restrictions were starting to come into play and make food service really complicated. I was really impressed with the organization and speed of the staff. Even during a lunch rush, they were really nice to their customers, got the order right, and (without my asking) checked with order with me to make sure all the items were there. This is a hidden gem in South County. Its located in a corner in a strip mall so it's easy to miss it.We went on a recommendation that I read on Facebook. As a first time customer we asked our server Jason (I think that was his name) what he recommended.. they are known for their pizza so of course we had to try it. We opted for a Hamburger/mushroom. I was so conflicted on what to get so we got a little of everything. I also ordered a Sandwich called The Meadow (Turkey crisp bacon provel arugula and garlic mayo). All sandwiches are served hot with a side. I chose the red sauce pasta...this sauce was unbelievable.. it is savory and garlicky..soo good. I had the veggie pizza and OMG it was the best ever. Knowing true home cooked Italian food from being an American (former) daughter in law with hands on training from my in laws that live in Italy today and the generations old recipes I was taught, I have to say this is some of the best salad dressing, pasta sauce and of course pizza that I have had outside of my kitchen.
