Angela and family made my daughter's beautiful graduation cake. It was delicious and the guests greatly enjoyed it. I showed up yesterday morning searching for a special cake for my daughter's 18 bday party later that night. I was greeted by the nicest family. Angela, her husband and even his brother chipped in to make me feel welcome, comfortable and informed. After some discussion, I chose a marble cake with Angel's suggestion of a butter cream frosting. After a gifted cupcake (paid for by the brother), I left hoping to pick up a great cake at 6:00. An hour later, I called with a request to change to a whipped cream frosting and Angela once again replied..."No Problem". I'd almost forgotten what great customer service was like!

Just as promised, at 6:00 pm I picked up a beautiful, simple, elegant cake from a still hard at work Angela!

Now normally, most parties I go to, there is always some cake left over that either has to be gifted to guests, which they very often throw away when they get home, or the party holders throw the rest away, not wanting it take up space at their house. This cake didn't make it to that point. Not only was every single crumb eaten, but even the cutting utensil was licked clean! Thank you Angela and family for helping to make our party a success. I will recommend you to everyone!

Right before Thanksgiving, I won Lil Bown Sugar's Pumpkin Bars on a FB Post & man were these Pumpkin Bars delicious!!! They even threw in a Pecan Banana Bread. Shared these during Thanksgiving & everyone was WOWED by how yummy these baked goods were. I also couldn't pick up when I was supposed to & they were very nice & accommodating. Hopefully they'll open up a store front again, I'd make the drive from across town for the Pumpkin Bars alone� More...

I don’t even like cupcakes, or cake, but these cupcakes are scrumptious! I especially love the strawberry limeade!! Top fave. The original ooey gooey bars are so satisfying! I crave them often. And, my favorite dessert of all time is the chocolate cake pops. I could literally eat a dozen. Maybe more. I was so sad when Angela and her daughter Alexis closed their store front (located on Gibson & 215) but was so happy to find that they still made sweet treats from another location. I used to love their sugar cookies, lemon, pumpkin and gooey bars, so that is exactly what I ordered for our 10 year anniversary ceremony and dinner. They give you the option of delivery or pick up. Great little local bakery. They truly make everything in their shop on their own, and with great results. There is also no question it is a family owned and operated bakery. While the cupcakes are obviously a draw and focus of the bakery, it is their cake pops and gooey bars that really shine. Be it sweet potato gooey bars to their chocolate chip peanut butter bars, you will not go wrong. Further, their pricing is almost obscenely low. Definitely worth the brief visit. More...
