Discovering LI Hydro and Ryan, the owner, was one of the best things that ever happened in my learning about growing and ultimately being INCREDIBLY happy with the results I'm seeing. The information and help that Ryan offered was invaluable. I've been back many times to ask questions and learn how to adjust my methods to finally get real success :) And even when special situations arise (I had a red mite infestation), Ryan was there to show me exactly what I needed to do. Such an amazing well set up store! So many great setups on display throughout the store . This store is awesome ! Better selection than amazon for what you actually need ! Not just random items and equipment that aren’t best for your planting goals. The prices are better than anything I’ve found on amazon or the main retailer ! Some of which you can’t buy direct from. Knowledgeability was amazing ! You can’t find any other store that won’t try to sell you equipment or nutrients that you don’t need. Owners Eric and Ryan as well as their team Pino and Tony have more knowledge about every plant that you will leave the store not only with money in your pocket but the knowledge that they have taught you on how to grow correctly in any type of medium. My new favorite place to shop. Finally, a quality store with a good overall atmosphere , great service and high quality products. I had interactions with three gentlemen during my experience there and all of them were helpful , knowledgeable and friendly. I was greeted at the door and promptly ushered to the products i was looking for , offered a full explanation on them and all of this with a good attitude. These guys took the time to show me some new products and some cool stuff they had around the store. I even had a few suggestions and some new ideas for them and they took what I said under real consideration. I am a very picky shopper so I have been to every hydro store on Long Island including queens. That being said, this store blows every one of those stores out of the water. There is more knowledge in the pinky toe of these brothers than most stores combined. Not only are the prices and selection superior, there isn't a question these guys can't answer. You may get a better price on amazon but you will actually cost yourself more if you don't have this encyclopedia of wisdom between the employees and owners. One of the sons is a chemist and the other is a mad scientist when it comes to building stuff. If you want a product they will have it or order it. They even have pre owned equipment at a discounted price! What's better than that? Don't waste your time at any other store.
