I am a former high school French teacher from Boston where I completed my BS degree at Boston College. Then, relocating to Seattle to obtain my Master of Social Work degree, I I worked at youth agencies until I started my independent counseling practice I offer multiple services which I have developed over the years, adding more services as I have acquired more skills.

What do you love most about your job?
I love a variety of aspects about my job. First, I love the variety of people and situations I work with.
I consider it a sacred honor to participate and share in their lives.
I also love seeing clients grow and prosper as a result of our work together. There is no better reward in my work.
Thirdly, I love the opportunity to teach and model behavior for my clients while learning from both coaching and counseling clients. I have learned they have much to offer.
I love the chance to be creative in unlimited ways.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After teaching French for a few years, I became aware that I wanted to help people in other ways. Helping is a powerful motivator for me. While working as a teacher, I discovered that I had a gift for counseling, in addition to teaching others. I felt I needed more education to be effective, so I got my Master's degree. Eventually, I started my own business which was a very powerful experience. What also inspired me to start my own business was the freedom I would have to be the "captain of my own ship" and to be creative, a very important value to me. Having my own business has unlimited potential which suits me well.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should choose me for many reasons. Foremost is my warm personality, humor, creativity and ability to find solutions outside the box. Secondly, I am effective as a counselor and coach, able to join the client in making desirable changes and reaching their goals. Thirdly, I genuinely like people, their individuality, strengths and challenges.
