This review is long overdue (our daughter was born in March). No one told us babies would be so time consuming! That being said . . .

When our daughter was born my husband and I were looking for a newborn photographer. We were very careful in our search due to a subpar experience with our wedding photographer.

Ultimately, we ended up choosing Life In Pixels and were extremely pleased with our decision for a variety of reasons.

The most important thing to us was to have a photographer that was patient with our daughter. Kathleen, the owner/photographer surpassed our expectations. The session was not timed which allowed for multiple breaks and quality photos (since Kathleen didn't just take pictures for the sake of taking them).

The next thing we loved was the fact that there were no hidden fees. During our consultation, we were provided prices up front and given the opportunity to ask questions in order to familiarize ourselves with the entire process. At no time were we pressured to commit. We ended up doing so, however, we could have easily walked out to continue our search.

Lastly, we wanted to select a photographer who ultimately would deliver fantastic photos. We were more than pleased with the end result. The photos were fabulous! Of course, our daughter played a big part but Life in Pixels definitely delivered.

Aj took me on as a student and is dedicated to my learning. He is available to answer questions I have any time of the day and will accommodate mine and his schedule to plan sessions. He provides me with valuable reading material and answers questions I have until I fully understand the concept. He is also very reasonably priced and will work with your budget. I came in as a beginner with baseline knowledge and I already see myself grasping difficult concepts because our lessons are so thorough. I plan on continuing our lessons until I am competent on the type of photography I want to master. More...

We heard from a few friends about Life in Pixels Photography so we decided to do our first family photo shoot with them. From the start they make you feel comfortable and welcome, and it's the perfect place to get your kid's pictures taken!
