What do you love most about your job?
What's not to love?! I love that i get to be outdoors, I love that my work allows me to have a flexible schedule, and most of all I love spending time with animals and helping their people.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business in October of 2014 after my husband and I got married. We started thinking about starting a family of our own and I wanted to find a job that was not only flexible but would allow me to stay with our child once they were born. Prior to starting my own business I worked at a child care facility for many years and started to realize that I'd be working just to afford child care by providing child care to others. This idea did not sit well with me and seemed a bit silly so I decided to combine my love of animals and helping people with our desire to start a family.......License to Leash was born!
