Liberation Dog Training

We were surviving with our two 6 month old puppies but just barely. I was following positive reinforcement techniques and things were going ok but with two rambunctious Labradoodles, I was quickly becoming overwhelmed. I called Sara for a consult and she said what she was hearing from me was that we needed calm in our home and she assured me that it was absolutely achievable. When she arrived at our home for our initial consultation, I immediately knew we made the right decision. In just her first couple of training visits, she has helped us immensely. We have a little ways to go before we have a calm home (they're still puppies, of course) but the difference her guidance has made is just astounding. We are so thankful to have Sara in our lives. She has been such a wonderful resource and support since even before rescuing our dog. She has given us so such incredible tools to help us give our pup the best life. After a rough beginning using the leash, Bella is now walking around the block and not hiding when she sees the leash. She also loves her kennel aka her safe space. Sara's love for dogs, respectful and ethical training shows in every interaction she has had with our puppy. We rescued a German Shepherd mix he was about 6 months when Sara started training. We were pretty clueless on what it took to take care of a big dog, little dogs are different. The first session my husband and I were blown away at how caring she was and she took the time to explain how she trains and the reason behind it, we felt so comfortable with her and Duke did so well with her. She has given us the tools we need to make sure Duke is an amazing dog he is on his way to becoming a great family dog and we couldn’t have done that without Sara. More...
