What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I feel that a photo session is a collaborative effort. I take the time to listen to what a client’s needs and desires are, then work to make images that are technically and aesthetically pleasing to both parties.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Do you have a location in mind? What time of day fits your schedule? Do you need printed images or digital files only? Are there any specific photos that you have seen that you love, if so, may I see them?

capturing emotion in a time and a place .
Meeting new people, getting to know them, and having the privilege of seeing what is special to them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I’m an artist. I have a hard time with the concept of working on someone else’s hours every day. I enjoy having the ability to make my own schedule and expressing myself in my own manner.
