We have used many trainers over the years for our rescue dogs. Cindy and Jessie are the BEST, I wish I found then earlier! We needed a board and train because of our travel schedules. There is no need to be nervous when dropping your furry family member with them. They crate trained, taught Orion basic commands, sent us an easy to follow brush up video to watch at home, and took time to train us at pick to stay consistent. Their system works with positive reinforcement. Orion is a pleasure to bring everywhere we go now! Thank you Cindy & Jessie More...

Our 1 yr old German Shepherd had become aggressive toward our older dog (in the photo). So much so that we had to take the older dog to the ER one night with puncture wounds from an attack. Nora (the German Shepherd) was also very vocal and acting aggressive towards other people entering our house and on walks etc... Cindy is amazing... she came to our home and before she left, Nora was letting her handle her and even allowed her husband to come into our house without so much as a peep.... We were speechless. She definitely knows dogs and I know she can help you too. By the way, the photo was taken about a week after we met with Cindy. We still have work to do but I know we are on the right path now. Thanks you Cindy for what you are doing. More...

My husband and I weren’t sure what to expect when Cindy took her for training. She was the most difficult, unruly Golden puppy we had ever had. We thought we might have to find her a good farm home because we couldn’t see her ever being a house dog. Cindy would not give up on this little pup though. When she brought Meadow back to us, she walked us through everything we needed to do to make Meadow know who the leaders of this pack were and it wasn’t her. Success! We still look in amazement at each other and say “How about Meadow?” We call her Miracle Meadow and Cindy is basically the miracle worker. Cindy is amazing! She literally worked miracles and took our home from chaos to peace and happiness. We have always loved our dogs, Millie and Ellie, but now we actually enjoy them too. Four weeks ago my wife and I were trying to decide which one we could possibly part with because they had recently started fighting. They could not be anywhere near each other. We literally had to take Millie out one door and bring Ellie in another. And it wasn't a matter of if, but when, Ellie was going to badly hurt Millie. We love them both so much and were heart broken. Thankfully I found Cindy's website. After talking with Cindy, I felt sure she would be able to help put us back together. Cindy was able to take our girls for a board and train the very next week. She drove all the way to Pleasant View to meet with us and assess our situation. Our dog, Ellie, was very aggressive and dominant over Millie, our home, and my wife and me. She barked constantly, jumped up on everyone all the time (all 70 lbs of her), and we had to separate her from the family every time anyone came over. Millie was scared of her and seemed to just be nervous all the time. After Cindy's training Ellie and Millie are best friends again! They play and sleep together. They are both calm, there is NO more jumping - at all, Ellie has stopped barking all the time, and Millie is sweet and happy! Cindy taught us how to regain control of our girls and our lives. Our home is calm and peaceful and we love our girls even more. More...

Cindy was AWESOME! I appreciated how above and beyond she went for our bernedoodle puppy, Aspen! It's not just a job for her, she actually treats her clients as if they were a part of the family. She took the time before hand to explain exactly what techniques she uses, what you can expect when she's done and how to optimise her behavioral treatments in the future. She sent photos and videos of my dogs progress throughout the training and upon completing the program, sat down with us for almost 2 hours and assisted with the transition back to her home. She went through the different commands and made sure that I knew she was available for any questions in the future. She also bent over backwards to accommodate my schedule and timing. I would like to nominate Cindy for sainthood because she is a miracle worker. My Border Collie pup was traumatized by an untrained neighborhood dog. His anxiety caused him to be on high alert, and although he wasn’t aggressive, he would bark at everything. He would bark at the slightest noise, people across the street, neighbors talking on the other side of a privacy fence, or anything unfamiliar, and if he was on the leash, he’d refuse to move and just bark at whatever it was. It was getting to the point that I dreaded taking him outdoors. Cindy said she should help. When she came to pick him up for her boot camp, he barked like crazy. Using her technique, we were able to get him to stop barking 5-10 minutes later. I would not have believed it if I hadn’t seen it. When he came back to me after training at her facility, he was like a different dog. He is more calm and much more obedient, and most of all, his barking is controllable and normal for a dog. She spent time giving me instructions on how to continue his training, and she provided me clear written instructions too. Cindy uses a very effective and gentle method for training a dog. She doesn’t use shock collars or other forceful tactics like many trainers. Thanks to St. Cindy, I have a furry-faced buddy that I can enjoy! More...

The other day we said hi to a dog on the trail. That dog was nervous and Theta just gave her the space she needed and after I spoke with the owner for a bit we were on our way. We went on a night hike together and she was never more than 8 feet from she. She comes the second a give her whistle and she even flipped right around when she started after a deer. This was her first night hike and really first real hike ever and she did amazing. Everyone I was with was amazed at how well Theta did. Sure love the dog she has become. Amazing. Cindy is amazing. She showed us how our dogs anxiety was all about her feeling the need to be in charge. After teaching us humans how to stay in charge, we have a much happier and well behaved dog. Ohana is my 18 month old Border Collie. I have always wanted a border collie to have fun with, do tricks, run with and have jobs around to house. Little did I know, even with research... most trainers have NO IDEA how to deal with teenage dog behavior! I took Ohana to a very well known trainer, who’s magical training ended up sending her to my vet with severe neck damage and almost $800 in vet bills. Then came Cindy. Cindy took Ohana to boot camp for 6 days. In those days, Ohana stopped barking, learned to come when called, heels when running, sits, stops being a bully to my other dogs in the yard and at eating time and does not nip, jump, bite or eat any of my shoes, heels or socks. In 6 days. That’s it. I have no idea what she did, or how she did it. We have spoken several times, and she swears she did not replace my dog! Ohana is a great member of my pack now. Here’s our story (this is a long one):Second week in April we welcomed a lab/golden retriever puppy to our home. The first couple days, we started to introduce the crate and didn’t have a ton of issues with it. We didn’t lock him in there but we did get him to the point that he was able to nap in there with the door open and go in to explore for treats. The first night we tried to crate him for bedtime though… total meltdown. And the meltdown lasted HOURS each time. Oh and he was literally screaming, not crying or whimpering - SCREAMING. We live in a townhouse with shared walls so after two nights of that we ended up having to move his crate to our closet and cover it to muffle the noise. No improvement. After about 7 nights of only 2-3 hours of sleep we were at our breaking point. He also started showing signs of separation anxiety during the day. We tried letting him scream it out in the crate and it was unbearable. I was in tears on several occasions wondering if we should bring him back to his Mom. We were desperate. Now, within the first week of rough nights I was already looking into getting professional help. Some places never even called me back, Cindy answered on the first call and talked me out of a panic. My next step (Sorry Cindy! :) ) was to get some references and really do my research. I hate to admit this but I was a little skeptical because he was so tough. Cindy was 100% responsive and patient with all our questions. I mean, it is quite a financial investment to hire a pro and we wanted to make sure it was going to be the right decision. After chatting with some of her references we decided to move forward. We did her puppy board and train program and when Cindy came to pick him up, she spent time with us and answered our many questions. She eased our concerns and even though we were sad to say goodbye for a couple weeks, we knew it was for the best and that he’d get some much needed help. Cindy kept us updated of his progress, she and her husband are saints in my book for enduring MANY days and nights of crate screaming. He was a tough puppy to break! Now here’s the fun part: Guess who slept 7 hours straight the first night back without a peep in his crate? (down on our main floor no less!) We couldn’t believe it was the same dog. When Bogey got back he was still a crazy puppy, but he no longer had separation anxiety and could sleep through the night in his crate without any accidents! At night we restrict water a couple hours before bed, let him pee a couple times and when we put him in his crate he settles immediately with no fuss. He still throws some tantrums in the crate during the day, but now we know how to handle them and we’re able to be more patient with him now that we can actually get some sleep. Since getting him back Cindy has made herself available to my many follow up questions and she really stands by her work. If you are hesitating at all, ask Cindy to share my info with you. I’ve volunteered to be a reference for her. She’s the real deal and we’re planning to do another puppy boot camp at 16 weeks. It has been worth every penny! More...

If you are reading this because your doggie issues keep you up at night, then you need to call Cindy! A year ago my husband and I adopted a german shepherd/red heeler mix puppy from an animal shelter, not knowing how abused she had been. She was very thin, but she was only 4 months old and seemed very mellow. Within a month she began barking aggressively at strangers and snapping if anyone she didn't know got too close. We got some bad advice from our vet who told us to have strangers give her treats. Then we tried positive reinforcement group classes. Then I began reading every dog training book I could get my hands on, and we still were seeing little improvement. In fact, our dog slowly seemed to get more aggressive as she grew. We toyed with the idea of finding her a new home but quickly became discouraged, fearing that she would be further mistreated or eventually put down for her aggression. Let's just say many tears of sadness and frustration were shed. Then Cindy entered the picture. She showed us a new perspective and helped us realize that our sweet dog, Lola, knew what it was like to 'have it bad'. She had burdened herself with the role of protector over us, herself, and our property in fear of losing her new home. Cindy taught us simple things we can do everyday to show Lola that we are quite capable of protecting ourselves and her. It has been more than a month since Cindy came to our home and put Lola in her very first timeout. Lola is making steady progress with her aggression. She snarls less and is learning to not get so revved up when people come over to our house. We never noticed just how low-maintenance she could be until now. She also listens better and is more affectionate and respectful of our space. I feel like our relationship with Lola has been blossoming as we see her negative behaviors diminish while still leaving her playful personality. It is amazing how Cindy's techniques allow a dog to reason out all on their own that their behavior needs to change. We have sent Cindy weekly progress reports with questions and she is always prompt to respond and very encouraging. It is obvious that she is truly invested in our dog's progress. Cindy is very funny and down-to-earth. We are 100% satisfied with her methods and very affordable service. Our only regret is not having found her sooner. More...

Cindy is the absolute best. We have 2 rescues, and the newest one, Eleanor, has been a handful to say the least. We decided we needed to try something drastic as a last resort, when she ended up basically biting some people. She is crazy protective of us and our home, and we haven't successfully had people over since we've had her (a little over 6 months). She bit a couple of family members, and has major separation anxiety. She also was agressive around other dogs, no matter where we were. When I contacted Cindy, she was so incredibly helpful and great right away as we decided what was best for Eleanor. We decided the week-long "bootcamp" training, where Cindy would take her for an entire week. It was also decided that it was best to also have our older rescue, Penny, go along as well - being important for them to bond and learn together.Cut to getting the pups back home on Tuesday morning this week and we couldn't believe our eyes. Cindy said, "Eleanor is the most aplha female small dog that I have EVER met." (which wasn't surprising to us at all). The way she interracted with Cindy as we sat and talked about everything that my husband and I needed to do/change going forward, was mind blowing. She was far from the pup that bit down on Cindy's foot right when she entered our home the first day. We finally feel like we have a realistic game plan going forward with her and felt like we needed the training as much as she did. Only a couple of days later, I can tell you that it was worth it 100 times over. Eleanor has already shown HUGE changes, and Penny has been listening even better than she did in the past! We finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and believe our lives will be much better for it - and the pup's lives as well! We would do anything for our girls, and it turns out we just needed to learn and be more structured with how we interacct with her. Cindy broke her like a wild pony!! We cannot wait to continue to work with Cindy to make even more improvements and have happy and confident pups! Can't thank her enough! More...

The next day Cindy discovered Millie had a massive double ear infection and took her right into the Vet. Cindy nursed Millie back to health for the next week, unable to do any real training because Millie was too weak. Literally, Cindy saved our little Millie’s life. Cindy cared for our dog, nursed her to health and kept her a whole week due to her condition. She went way above and beyond her side of her contract. After months of trying to work with her I decided to try one more trainer and if that didn't work I would have to put her down because if I couldn't train her no one else would take her either. Searching in desperation I came across Cindy's web site and gave her a call. She promptly set an appointment with me the for that week. Cindy arrived promptly and started right to work. Withing a mere matter of minutes Cindy showed me exactly what the problem was... ME! And, she did this beautifully. Her knowledge is unlimited and within just 30 minutes my dogs were beginning to transform. You can see this happening right before you eyes and it is truly amazing. She spent just over three hours with us and, when she left that day, I had drastically different dogs. It has been three days and things are still going well. Cindy has checked in with me frequently and if I have had questions, I get an very fast and helpful, encouraging reply. She left me with tools to refer to. I just can't sing her praises loud enough! Please consider letting Cindy help you with your dog. I can promise you that you will never regret meeting Cindy. She will change your life with your pet forever. Thank you, Cindy! More...

Cindy is amazing she totally changed my daughters dog in just a little under 3 hours.. Had us more trained for him to understand. He is not the alpha and I swear from the time she came in our home to when she left. Even still we have a completely different dog. She answers any questions we may have still. I can't express truly how amazing she is and her 5 golden rules.. You will never need anything more. A true dog whisper.. A blessing !!Cindy thank you!!! Words can't ever fully say how greatful we are you're worth a million .. And koba is proof.. As well as our other 2 dogs.. Kaylub the oldest almost 11 years old is finally getting left alone. And chole our 4 year old is loving the ears left alone. She is also being better and knowing she's not in charge as a alpha either. Bless you and anyone who truly wonders if her trainning is worth it.."YES" I would say she don't charge enough. You could try going else where. You won't see a change like what I seen with Cindy. A out of control dog change and our older ones in just a few hours we had control like she did in 10 min . The hardest part we had was training us to follow the 5 rules and I still am in awe to how yesterday we had out of control dogs and a 180 change from when Cindy walked in our door . God bless you so much and thank you beyond any words.. I more then recommend Cindy.. You won't be sorry no matter what issues you may have or how aggressive or out of control your dog(s) may be she is the hope and angel you will ever need. ""You will have the dog you could ever ask for.!! "" I have to find our video of before with them. I will upload it when I do . More...

We met with Cindy just four days ago and are already seeing the areas of concerns with our 5 yr old Goldendoodle improve! We are excited for both our dog and us to enjoy the long term benefits of this new pet living style . We know we’ll enjoy our dog more and in return she’ll get the attention and love she adores in a healthy pet/companion relationship. We love our Shay and the investment was well worth the return! Let me just start by saying we have 2 pitbulls, and I looked around for a trainer for awhile before we found Let's Train Your Dog, most people wouldn't even consider our dogs and others raised their prices. Cindy never batted an eye on their breed, this was a huge plus on our side knowing she loves all sizes/breeds of dogs. From the moment she walked through the door the training started. Our 3 yr old female is a nervous barker and always has to be put up during company, by the last hour of the session she was laying on the floor SLEEPING right infront of Cindy, this has NEVER happened. Over the past few days implementing the training she has given us we have seen a HUGE success with both our dogs. I wish I would have found her sooner our dogs are happier, we are happier and we love seeing the results in such a short time. I especially love that even my 5yr old is helping in the training and the dogs respond to him as they would to us and my older kids. Thank you Cindy you're a miracle worker! More...

Cindy was extremely helpful and taught my husband and I to be the the "leaders of our pack". She breaks in down into 5 simple ways to incorporate into your daily training routine so that your dog can learn who is in charge. I was honestly skeptical of the "one time consultation", but after my experience working with her today I've come to understand this is the best way to go. She empowers you to be the trainer and understand the "why" behind your dogs behavior. Thanks again Cindy! More...

Cindy is wonderful! It's been a week since she came and worked with Louie, (our sweet, but a little wild goldendoodle) and we have already made lots of progress! Cindy has been so great in answering my texts and emails with questions and it's clear she truly cares about making sure you succeed with her training program. Keep in mind, while Cindy will give you all the tools you need to succeed, it is up to YOU to put in the work everyday or her program won't work. I recommend Cindy for all your dog training needs! Cindy is a miracle worker!! my Dog had a few bad behaviors, Barking a lotbegging for food, resource guarding. Cindy explained that He thinks he is the Alpha, he was definitely in charge of our house. Cindy came to our Home and spent time explaining with detail how to resolve his issues, I had had a couple of different trainers before, but their techniques did not work, or they seemed to harsh! Cindy has a gentle approach, no Gadgets no yelling, its been so much fun putting her training to work. and we cant believe how fast our Dog has been responding and understanding his place in the pack. he is much more relaxed, we are all much happier! I highly recommend Cindy! She was so fun to have over, I love her approach to training because it seriously works! anyone with a Dog should definitely call her. she deserves more then 5 stars! thank you Cindy! we will never forget you! Cindy is amazing!! She is very personable and so fun to work with!! I never thought I'd see such a huge change in my dog and his behavior in just two hours. At first I was very skeptical that we would be able to make a change so quickly but her methods started working right away!! 30 minutes after she left someone outside was making all sorts of commotion and my dog didn't growl or bark, just looked at the door and listened! I highly recommend Cindy!! She knows her stuff!! More...

When our family got a new puppy, I thought that with all the free information online, we didn't need to hire any formal trainer. I did a lot of research and was confident in my self-acquired knowledge- it all seemed pretty straightforward. Hahaha, well after a few months into it, I knew something wasn't working and after more research, I called Cindy. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE! Cindy is not your run of the mill trainer, she truly cares about everyone involved in the process. She was patient and fantastic with my kids, and kind with us all. She has stuck with us through the whole process and has become both teacher and friend. Thank you, Cindy! More...
