What inspired you to start your own business?
My passion for working with people developed in my early 20’s while teaching and coaching youth athletics. I found that to effectively work with the youth, I had to build a solid relationship with the families to develop a collaborative approach to the student’s growth as an athlete, student, and person. This experience led me to over 20 years of experience volunteering in community-based organizations providing counseling for adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

I am empathetic, collaborative and direct therapist. I strive to understand my clients and work with them to help them find their own solutions and become unstuck. I believe in being an active participant in the process and not just sitting back and listening but truly engaging with each person.
