The moving team showed up on time (i.e., within the communicated window) and they brought a positive and friendly attitude throughout the process. The items were moved completely and without damage. I would have appreciated a bit more communication on the assembly of some of the larger items--i.e., the bed and couch were assembled and positioned in such a way that required my solo intervention after the fact. That said, I was pleased overall with the process and with the team's work ethic. The biggest disappointment was the total billing, which was over 1.5x the original estimate. Clearly moving rates have shot up across Denver over the past few years, but I was still left shaken by how much a two-bedroom apartment move within the same city ended up costing. More...

I moved from Littleton to Broomfield. Most of the move on July 25th went smoothly, minimal damage to furniture. But how they lost the triple dresser mirror for my bedroom- I have no words. Just missing. They had to unscrew it from the back of the dresser, and it just vanished?? Look- if they accidentally broke it, which is what I suspect happened- then just admit it. We had a truly impressive experience moving across the state with Legacy Moving. They were FAR more affordable than other quotes we got (like I'm telling you, some companies literally laughed at me for our distance and timeline and amount of stuff, and quoted 4x as much). Legacy returned my initial inquiry immediately, and offered flat rate, so we weren't stressed about weight or number of items. They did an in-home estimate before booking that was super helpful, checked in 2 weeks and 1 week before the move, answered my many questions, and called the morning of the move when they were on the way. Mario, Caleb and Cory were our movers and we were so impressed with their efficiency, friendliness and professionalism both during load in and unload. Mark, the team lead, and US Army Veteran, did a great job managing his moving crew! The entire team remained courteous and respectful, even when the move had to be extended into a second day. However, probably due to fatigue at the end of two rigorous days, the crew failed to thoroughly clean up their used materials from my property after they completed packing their truck. Very happy with Legacy Moving Denver! I looked into a few moving companies and was pleased with their competitive pricing and structure. Scheduling was a breeze! Although I was cutting it close with my move (within 2 weeks), I was fortunate to schedule for exactly when I was hoping. Although I was called a day prior to move my morning slot to an afternoon slot - and it was a hot one - James and Ian showed up on time. Sadly I have to adjust my review from October from a 5 star rating to 2 stars. I hired Legacy Moving to get me out of the storage unit they had moved me into months prior. Unfortunately, their lack of communication and zero response from my concerns were never addressed. Below is the email I sent the owner Andrew. Hi Andrew, I wanted to send you my thoughts in an email, because I prefer to give this type of feedback in private (most times). First, the movers could not have been nicer. However, they showed up about 90 minutes late. I was told by your dispatch guy that the 1:00 PM time is actually a window and not the arrival time. Unfortunately, that was never relayed to me in this instance or when I first used you last October. Also, when I called your dispatch person the first time he said that he would get right back to me (he never did). I called a second time and he said he had gotten busy and will try again. During that 90 minutes that I waited I took it upon myself to bring 95% of my items to the first floor of the storage area. It took your drivers one hour to complete and I still paid for two hours - something else that wasn't relayed to me. Hoping we can come to a solution on this since I basically spent 90 minutes completing the task myself. The move was quality, but the quote I received was inaccurate. I was quoted 2-3 hours and it took 4.5 hours. I called to ask about the discrepancy and was told that it took so long because of the flights of stairs. But, they were aware of the stairs and should have taken that into account. Additionally, I was overcharged. I was charged for the drive time back to the facility and was told I would not be charged for this when I hired Legacy. So, I had to call to get a refund. Overall, nothing was damage during the move but because of the inaccurate quote and the overcharge, I don’t think I would hire Legacy again. More...

In a turn of events, our scheduled movers did not have us on their schedule yesterday. As soon as we found out at 10am, I called around frantically looking for any moving company that could help. Legacy was responsive and gave me a quote right over the phone and told me that they could get 2 guys out to us by 2pm. Mario and Matt actually showed up around 1:30 (earlier the better considering we wanted to start the move at 9am). They were really fast and professional. The 2 man crew was great. They did everything we asked of them and were very careful and efficient. I would have given Legacy 5 stars, but the dispatch team had them scheduled wrong, so our guys showed up 3 hours late to start our job which really messed up our day. These guys were fantastic. They were on time, called before hand to let me know they were on their way and were ready to go when they got to my place. Mark and Adam were very efficient and didn't stop for a minute. They didn't complain that I had a number of small boxes vs larger ones. They were upbeat and service oriented. Despite a slightly longer drive than expected, they ended, more or less, exactly when they said they would. Movers broke my bed. They told me, were very nice about it and called the manager when it happened. They said the manager would probably call but if not, I should call. I waited one business day and when I didn't hear from them, I sent an email. This was more than 2 weeks ago and I still have not heard anything and I am out the money for a new bed. Terrible experience on a long distance move. Truck was too small for all of my belongings, they had to get a uhaul trailer to finish loading. The owner tried to charge me for the trailer but did end up paying for it. The truck he sent to my home was old, the muffler was held together with a chain! My belongings were not handled in a respectful manne. The truck broke down and had to be towed, my belongI gas had to be transferred to a larger Uhaul truck and finally delivered two days later. I discovered Legacy Moving Denver researching local businesses and wanted to price compare them to a previous moving company I used and was familiar with. Right of the bat, Elijah was friendly, courteous and thorough in walking me through my anticipated move. He was patient and understanding in answering my various questions. There were no hidden charges and I was able to secure movers despite it being the MDW holiday. My movers, Mario and Matt, showed up timely and communicated easily during moving day. They both worked fast and efficiently; I appreciated the attention to detail when wrapping up my furniture pieces and they were careful in transporting my valuables. They also put back together the furniture they dissambled. From start to finish, I was impressed with Mario and Matt. Mario is a pro at parking that ginormous truck like it was a sports car! I was disappointed that there was some damage, while minor, to a few items. For example, my TV stand wasn't secured to the TV as I had thought. My guest bedroom sheets were ripped during the bed installation. The brackets for my window treatments were left behind at my old place. We did complete my move within the anticipated time of 3 hours. Even though I had limited pieces of furniture, they were heavy and/or large pieces. Overall, Legacy Moving made my move seamless and quite painless. It was a great experience and I would recommend them. If I had to relocate again, I would reach out to them but maybe supervise the unpacking and setting up process with the guys to ensure satisfaction and address any issues at the time. More...

This is the second time that we have used Legacy Moving and once again we got stellar service. The team was on time and when they needed more help the main office sent more people. We have very heavy fine antiques and this company moved it all to central Missouri without even a scratch. They unloaded the furniture at my Missouri home, which was built in 1847 and they didn't even scratch the wooden floors despite putting in the very heavy antiques in the home. Jesus & Mario were great! They were so quick and efficient that they ended up waiting on me as I wrapped up my packing. Very friendly and did the whole move as well as putting my bed frame together in 2. 25 hours (.75 hrs less than estimated) , it's nice to know that they don't just run the clock and rack up charges. Terrible. I had told the estimator in email and by phone that my things were in storage and bed was disassembled. I asked specifically that the movers would assemble the bed at the new location. I was assured multiple times this would happen. Once movers brought the bed in they said they never assemble something they themselves did not take apart. i had to call the dispatcher to make it happen. Then one mover lost control of a dolly full of storage bins as he was taking it down the stairs. The bins flew to the bottom and two of them opened spilling the contents. Mover started yelling at me that it was my fault the tops weren't secured. His anger continued to grow until I felt intimidated. after bringing in a few more items he said he was done. I said he had to bring everything in in order to get paid, so he told his workers to take everything back. Luckily my son showed up and they did not try to take things. The movers drove off leaving my sofa and other items on the sidewalk. They turned around at the end of the street and drove passed my house giving me the finger. More...

Extremely disappointed at how our move turned out! I got a quote from legacy moving and after giving a list of things in the house they told me 2 people would be doing the move and I was originally quoted for 4. 5 hours after being told that they wouldn't even need the entire time quoted. They were on time to reach our house to begin the move and within an hour they told me that they need to add, rather they would like to have a third guy come in to move things faster, we agreed! We had to rush them a little bit because things were very slow! It was past 5.5 hours so we had already exceeded the quoted time. I understand that certain furniture can take longer to be assembled and finally the move was done in 6 hours. We paid them and thought we were done, it was around 8.30 pm. The next day when started unboxing, we are seeing nails around the house, the tv stand was broken, my vanity mirror was missing - it was disassembled and left in the old house, the tv unit has missing shelves - it's been 3 days and we don't know where those shelves are, I found bed slats lying in the garage, the dryer hose was left in the old house and a lot of other things!!! Maybe there's more that I'm yet to find out. I'm still finding nails in the house and I don't know what furniture it belongs to. We went with Legacy moving because of their reviews on Yelp and Thumbtack and because they are " budget friendly" but we paid over $1000 and we are extremely disappointed and frustrated!
