I was embarrassed and totally disgusted with the lack of quality of the wreath this flower shop sent to the church for my uncle's funeral in DC last week! I always try to patronage African American businesses, but this one is beyond par! Unfortunately, I am not able to upload a picture of the wreath here. When I contacted the flower shop, I was told that someone at the gravesite must have changed the flowers!!! Appalling!!! I told them they arrived at the church that way. SAVE YOUR MONEY! I ordered flowers to be delivered to my mom yesterday for her bday & at 6pm my mom hadn't received anything. So she went outside to find the flowers on the porch. She said she had been downstairs all day & no one knocked or rang the doorbell. I left delivery instructions to "knock hard because the recipient is partially handicapped" when I placed the order, and there's a note on the door to knock hard because the doorbell doesn't work. I called the store & got a lot of attitude from Joy who went back & forth with me insisting the driver knocked because "that's their policy"...as if everyone follows policies. She then placed me to call the drivern and then said, "he said he did knock, no one answered & then took a picture, so that was his proof". So he took a pic of him knocking????? Yeah, right. Again my mom said no one knocked on her door all day. The back & forth, the lack of empathy, being unapologetic, not accepting fault and the attitude was appalling. The fact that Joy went back & forth with me was absurd. Bad customer service + attitude = me NEVER spending my money here again. Too bad Rick & Marie are friends of my dad, Rick being his longtime friend from school. That's why I have a 2 � instead of a 1. More...
