I have had such a great experience at Leah's. She caters her treatment according to your skin  and needs and never pushes any additional treatments or any products on you to buy. Leah Skin Care is one of the very best experiences I have ever had. Leah is kind, pleasant and patient and always accommodating. She is VERY good at calming a nervous person (me) and reducing stress levels. The surroundings are VERY clean, pleasant and quiet. Over a decade ago I was out to dinner with a good friend and I noticed that her skin looked absolutely luminous. She had been seeing Leah for a few months for facials in preparation for her upcoming nuptials and shared the contact information for Leah's Skincare with me. I struggled with acne-prone skin throughout my 20s and needed to try something new as dermatologists were doing nothing for me beyond prescribing useless creams and gels. I credit Leah with turning around the health of my skin, no doubt about it. After 3-5 appointments I remember one day washing my face in the shower and noticing how smooth and healthy it felt. I was elated. Leah reminds me to this day how I called her a day or two after my first appointment as the extractions had left marks on my face. She reassured me that the marks would heal and reminded me that some of my blemishes were cystic acne that required deep extraction. I was urged to continue to see her every 4 weeks. I had faith given that I had seen my friend's gorgeous skin....ten years later I am absolute devotee and recommend Leah to anyone looking for skin treatments, she is hands-down the best there is. Not only is she incredibly talented, she has succeeded in creating a relaxing environment only one block from Bloomingdales (easily accessible) AND she is as kind and caring as a best girlfriend. Leah offers a variety of services at excellent prices given her vast knowledge base and expert hands. She uses all natural products and will tailor the products she uses and treatments based on your own skin needs. It took some time but Leah slowly convinced me to try out a Brazilian wax and I have not turned back. For anyone interested in a Brazilian but too afraid to try, Leah is an expert and uses the most gentle wax there is. She's a true professional. Best Spa Services a Girl Could Ever Ask For - I have been suffering with acne for literally a decade and have run through the gamut of over-the-counter products and prescription medications. Just as I was about to give up on the prospect of ever feeling good about my skin, I found Leah's Skin Care and decided to give it a whirl. I've had many facials in the past that touted "deep cleansing" and appropriateness for sensitive skin types like myself, but none have given me nearly as successful results as Leah's. Leah is gentle - she doesn't use any harsh products or tools that can scar the skin. She is incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to and genuinely interested in monitoring your skin reactions and developments post-facial. Since I've gone to see her, my skin has remarkably improved and has finally become the clear complexion I yearned for throughout my adolescence and early adulthood. Leah also does amazing eyebrow shaping and does the best Brazilian waxes in the city. If you've ever contemplated getting a Brazilian but were too reticent for whatever reason, go to Leah! I have had my eyebrows waxed for the last several years. I have shied away from threading, just because I was told that it was a very painful process. I'm here to say that those people have not met Leah. I barely knew anything was happening to my brows and I must say that once she was done, I couldn't stop admiring them. Leah is amazing in what she does and I now can't imagine anyone else touching my face! If you have been suffering through waxing or threading you're paying way too much money for pain! I have been going to facialists and dermatologists for almost 10 years for my skin problems and Leah is the only person who has been able to help me. In my first visit, Leah analyzed my skin and recommended microdermabrasion and mini facials to clear up my face. After one session, I saw results like never before.
