Food was good: bread and butter=to die for, entree= good (inhalation portion), and dessert was meh. steak was huge, I was in a food coma right afterwards. I took my friend and his wife to the Chef's Table for his birthday this past Saturday and it was amazing. The food was wonderful, but I want to give a shout our waiter. The food was wonderful. 5 stars. The real mvp is the wait staff though. Our waitress was A+. We walked away so happy and ready to return because of her attentiveness and suggestions which were all backed up with perfect food.

The restaurants beautiful and the ambience it is a perfect for a date spot. I took a physician there for lunch. You will not disappoint. We order escargot and the baby beets dishes for appetizer. The baby beets dish with the goat cheese cheese and pear vinaigrette was refreahing. Now, escargot was served traditionally butter, Burgundy wine, parsley and garlic. It was amazing and great to soak up the dish with the house made bread. Now, the main lunch dish I order the duck and sauaage and the doctor order the lobster risotto. We just shared both dishes to tried everything. I will tell you the duck and sausage had a carrot ginger puree was so silly buttery smooth that just melt in your mouth. We came down to Houston for a romantic getaway and stumbled upon this Hidden Gem this restaurant cannot get enough We have gone to many different high-end French cuisine restaurants (The French Room in DFW, Micheals at the Colony Surf in Hawaii, just to name a couple) and this is by far number one! (Although Micheals wins the view cause common You can’t beat Hawaii on the water... but this Place wins on everything else!) the service was impeccable and food was c'est magnifique! We had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners Sylvain. He was charming, warm and welcoming and we are so thankful for meeting him and getting to experience this diamond of a resturant! My family is also from France and their pear cake was a beautiful and wonderful tasting reminder of a dessert my Me'me' made for me growing up! Sylvain even graciously shared and passed along an amazing recipe book from his Brother (the Masterful Chef owner that started Le Mistral) I am telling my mother (whom was born in South France) all about this lovely and romantic place so she can go with my dad and expirence it as well!
