This place is the real deal. Best BBQ in all of Wisconsin. You better come hungry, because they dont skimp on anything. Do yourself a favor, and stop down there, even if it is out of the way. 100% worth the trip every time.

Came here 5/3/19. Short wait and excellent food! I had a pulled pork sandwich with their beans! I needed more barbecue sauce on the sandwich though, that's my fault for not asking for extra! My husband had the ribs and he said they were good and tender! I definitely give them an A++! Excellent barbecue! We will be returning! I highly recommend this place to everyone! If you are just driving through stop in, if you want BBQ like no other stop in, if you want the owner to walk around and talk to you passing out samples stop in, if want to taste corn bread like you never have had before . ...stop in.... The brisket nachos are my favorite! I love the brisket here, no matter how it comes. I've never had a bad meal here and if I lived closer is come regularly. We visit when we're in the area. Finally paid a visit this past Saturday (4/6/19) and glad we did. There was quite a long line when we arrived but chatting with some of the people in line they told us to wait it out and that we would not regret it and we did not. The line, for as long as it was, moved pretty quickly and for how busy it was we found a place to sit. The food easily lived up to the hype. We got the sample and everything was delicious. My favourite was the brisket but all was delicious. The sides (we got ribs n beans and cornbread) were tasty and the banana pudding for dessert was also very good. The whole time we were there the line was long but it seemed to move fairly quick. If you show up and there is a long line just get in it; you will not regret it. So let me start with wow. This was delicious to the point I ate too much because I couldn't stop. Ribs amazing. Potato salad really good. Beans and ribs also great. Only thing I wasn't estatic about was the BBQ sauce it's vinegar based and not my cup of tea. However this meat needs no sauce it's tender and juicy and delicious. Absolutely amazing. Best ribs I've ever had. Worth the 35 minute drive from Milwaukee. There was a long line when we got there, but LD came out and gave everyone a rib to try while waiting in line. Pulled in the gas station for a soda and saw the BBQ truck around back. I had to grab some. Trying to listen to other people order so I could maybe figure out what the hot meat is. Screw it, I got the sampler. Brisket, rib's, chicken, sausage. Tried the first two do far, so happy the GF doesn't do rib's so they're all mine! Trying the other two when she gets home. Can't wait. The food was exceptional, spectacular. But the restaurant is in a gas station, no servers, plastic silverware.
I took my parents there based on the reviews.

Seriously the best BBQ ever. We went to a rib fest one summer and these guys were there. We tried their stuff and thought it was amazing. We decided to give their restaurant a try, we drove the 40 minutes to find the place. The restaurant is actually inside of a gas station. We got there shortly after they opened and there was already a line. They have one big, long table for seating. They have more outside, but we went during winter. We got our food and sat down to eat. Quality BBQ. Burnt ends were out, sadly, but got the Shane. Excellent flavors. To get the true flavor, I would suggest to ditch the bun.
Sauce is damn good as well....I would recommend the "Zippy" sauce. Not too hot at all- perfect. Beans & Ribs were amazing, great smoke flavor.

Hands down an amazing experience. Got the combo platter with Chicken, Brisket, and Pulled Pork. Their cornbread was light and moist, so much better than most is. The meat was all amazing, and the portions were generous. Their sauces are amazing as well with well developed flavor profiles. We only waited in line for about 20 minutes due to the popularity of the place. Very good, but my bf is a BBQ snob so....here is his opinion. Good flavor, the red sauce was great. Potato salad & Mac n Cheese were both good.
Beans n' ribs were ok, nothing special. The bbq isn't juicy enough, the corn bread was too sweet & wet like cake, beef ribs are far superior to pork...but these were "pretty good. we still make better ones here at home".
