I've been to many vet clinics and this office is by far my favorite! My appointment wasn't an emergency, so I can't speak for the urgent side of things. It did take quite a few days to be seen, but the staff and Dr Fawcett were amazing. They addressed all of my concerns and helped me fix every one of them. I could tell they really valued me as a customer and even called a week later to check on my dog. I will be going back and telling others of this location! More...

I seriously cannot say enough things about this place. My doggy wasn’t even a patient of theirs and while seizing in the car we went over to the Closest vet and I went in. It was on a Saturday and they unfortunately weren’t able to squeeze him in, but the technician came out to see him and check on him. He had finished seizing and was a little messy with drool and bowel movement all over the back seat. The tech goes back inside and brings out towels and says we can keep them. That was very sweet of her and it melted my heart. I get it could get busy on Saturdays and I understand not being able to see my son, but what the tech did was what won me over. I have since been in 3 times and they have all been so very nice and so sweet to my son, Rex. His doctor is always so very sweet and so is the staff. I appreciate them so very much for everything they do for Rex. We moved to Utah from Colorado and had two different vets before this place and they were horrible. My husband and I are first-time kitten owners and we brought our 8 week old kitten here to get her shots. They were SO sweet with her and made sure she had a great visit. We have been going here for 10+ years. We have brought 8 dogs here (2 Boxers, Pomeranian, Pug, 3 Min Pins, and an Aussie). We came from another local vet. Pricing here is very reasonable and we have never felt pressured into any unnecessary testing or procedures. All my dogs have been spayed or neutered and chipped here. No problems. I came in with what I thought was a problem but by the time we got there was not and the doctor didn't even charge us for the visit. The staff is very friendly and I recommend both Dr. Maxfield and Dr. Fawcett. Very satisfied pet parents!! More...

Took our puppy,Jerry, in with a broken leg. Dr. Maxfield was compassionate with our puppy and straight forward with Jerry's recovery plan. Jerry had to stay overnight for surgery in the morning. When I went to pick him up the vet tech had him up front giving him attention because he was crying in the kennel. After having him home 48 hours they called to check up on him, answered questions I had about Jerry and to make sure we had our follow up appointment scheduled. I have been taking both my dogs and cats here for many years. They are always great at answering my questions. I always feel like I get the best help for my pets when I go here. I also unfortunately had to put down my dog recently and they went above and beyond to try and make this time easier for my family and I. They made sure they scheduled us at the end of the day so there were less other people around. They gave me several options on taking care of my dog. We’ve gone to Layton Vet for over 30 years. They are remarkably good. Our normal vet is Dr. Maxfield, but Dr. Fawcett is just as good. I have no concerns going to either one.
