Layla. A Social Salon

I came to this salon for a bridal styling and was very happy with my hair! I actually had never been here before or known anyone who had but my normal salon is closed Sundays and my wedding was on a Sunday so I came in and made an appointment. I'm so happy that I was given Carley Chavez! I showed a picture and explained what I wanted and told her my wedding would be outdoors and I was a little afraid of wind. She made sure she styled it in a way where it would last even in the outdoors. I had my appointment at 9:30am and my wedding was at 5:30pm and my hair lasted the whole time! It turned out so beautifully and better than I could have imagined. I'm so happy I chose this salon. It's clean and the staff is friendly and Carley was very knowledgeable about styling hair. After looking near and far for a stylist who could meet my haircare needs I found Maissa! Trying out a new salon always makes me a little anxious and Maissa made me feel super comfortable with my experience. She listened to all my hair concerns and frustrations and answered them with a beautiful balayage and trim that was exactly what I didn't even know I needed! I went in today for my second appointment with Jasmine! I absolutely love her. I have super fine blonde hair thats been damaged and I am very particular about my cuts. Over the 2 visits we have deep conditioned and cut the damaged ends and I love my new short cut! She is so patient as I try to explain what I want (I'm a bartender, I don't know hair stylist lingo). This is my go to spot for hair! They are super welcoming, the second you check in they offer you a beverage to drink while you wait for your stylist. I always request Pam to ABSOLUTELY SLAY my hair. I have came in to see Angie before many times before. She has done my haircuts, changed me from black to platinum blonde, done my make up for several occasions and now she is doing my eyebrows and my lashes! This girl can do it ALL!! One of the best hair salons  in town , highly recommend  ! I'm very picky when it comes to hair stylist  ( maybe because i'm from Italy lol ) and a friend of mine suggested to try Layla Today  was my first time there , and Carly cut my hair. I thoroughly enjoy my time at this salon- every appointment I am thrilled with the outcome.  Carley slays my blonde and my haircut. She is great with pixies and short hair!Angie is my personally makeup artist- anytime I need to be glammed she is there for me! She is so talented and does every look from bridal to high fashion. She recently tinted my brows with henna and not I'm addicted to that too! I can't wait to get my lashes lifted and tinted with her. With all the covid craziness Layla social has been on top of it. Request Precious! This is by far the best salon! I was 15 minutes late they were very understanding and took me right away. They are social distancing very well in a big open salon. They cleaned after the last customer and cleaned before me. So they disinfected twice before I sat down. I only had a cloth mask and didn't want to ruin it so the owner offered me a paper mask. I moved from CA to Vegas in 2018 and had been going back to CA to see my hairdresser of 25 years any chance I got. Which isn't very economical. My friend told me of this salon so I went to their website to check them out. I loved that each stylist had their own Bio so you could see their training, experience, specialties, etc. I found Jasmine and booked an appointment for that same day. WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! The salon is adorable, COVID friendly, and Jasmine was just an absolute doll. She listened to everything I said I wanted, looked at all the pictures I had on my phone, and came up with a game plan. Once it was all cut and blown out she went through and adjusted anything I wanted thinned out or taken up. I went from a single later grown out cut to a layered bombshell. I asked for product recommendations since my hair has been so dry in LV and she walked me through the products she used without being pushy. 100% 10/10 would recommend. More...

I rate this salon 1 Star, the receptionist was very sweet and the salon it's self seemed to be promising although I left 30 min into my appointment in sobbing tears. .. Angelica my stylist was INCREDIBLY rude and uncompromising blaming her terrible attitude on being a "realist" I, (also a realist) found her and her refusal to do my hair how I wanted to be simply out of pure laziness... (Clearly bleaching room the color I wanted would take some time) although she instead of recommending a double/triple process in which it would take she refused any color on my hair AT ALL as well as insulted the texture of my hair. I was recommended by a close friend who went in for the EXACT same hair color.. I am truly disappointed and insulted by the service I received. More...

The worst experience ever. Do not use them. Yessmina ( I think she spells it like this) ruined my hair. I came in a platinum blonde, showed her my old picture when it was more yellow blonde asked for that, came out dark brown . I asked for the owner Jasmine she never returned my call. Yessmina said she’d fix it ( hell no don’t touch it). They brought out there director who was nice but that doesn’t fix my hair. They had lots of excuses. They wanted to foil bleach my hair which would hv melted it off. I said no. They shampoo bleached it to try to fix it. It did nothing and broke a lot of my hair off( guarantee it was in the sink) . I just moved to Vegas and it's been 8 months since getting a cut or color (thank you covid) but was looking for a new stylist, as I've only had 1 person touch my hair in the last 15 years in California.
