I was kind of concerned for my case because Mr. Carlin had said to me in my first consultation that my case could become a little difficult. He was honest before anything. He didn’t try to get my money and make me a client without warning me that it could go sideways. I did hire him afterall and did move forward with my process. He had shown himself to be more than just honest, but also attentive, knowledgeable and caring. He was responsive to my emails in within seconds pretty much. I didn’t have to live with worries because he took the time to respond to my concerns right away. He also clarified all things that made no sense to me. I can’t recommend Michael Carlin and his team enough to anyone who is need of assistance in their immigration case. Michael was extremely attentive, honest and helpful with my husband and I’s case for a green card application for myself. He always replied promptly to my communications, and his team were so accommodating to all things related to our case. One specific thing I liked the most was how upfront and transparent he was from the very beginning to the end with fees (because y’all know how expensive this can be!) and expectations. One specific point my immigration officer made in our green card interview was that our case was “extremely organized” and that they appreciated that greatly as it made their job easier. This was down to the coordination of Michael and his office’s hard work they put in to preparing my application and all of the supporting documentation that went with it (there was ALOT). I used my husband's google account.Michael and Olivia helped me to get a green card through marriage. I was really stressed out and worried because we were not living together after marriage. We were not living together due to my lease in Ann Arbor. My husband was living in Chicago Suburbs. Michael assured me not to worry because it is not as complicated as it looks. Micheal did a great job for me. I applied for permanent residency on 2015 and it got stuck for unknown reasons. Before I got Michael, I tried to solve the problem by contacting USCIS, Senators, etc but did not work. I hired Mike for the permanent residency application of my wife and I through USCIS. Shortly after obtaining our permanent resident cards, we realized that we had to leave the county for some time that may not be short. I would highly recommend Mr. Carlin’s legal services. Not only is he an excellent immigration lawyer, but he is also very friendly, courteous, and timely. As anyone who has dealt with the immigration department knows, the laws are very confusing and complex, and require nothing short of an expert to break the code. Michael is extremely knowledgeable about immigration issues. He is straightforward, respectful, empathetic, and accessible. In my sister’s case, her green card had been taken away due to an overstay in Brazil. She’s been married to an American for 16 years. Michael handled the whole case and played out every possible scenario with the utmost professionalism. His diligence resulted in a successful outcome for my sister and her husband.
