I would not recommend getting laser hair removal done here. I had 6 treatments done on my underarms and it would still grow back the next day. Very unhappy with my results and super upset with the amount I spent. I spoke to the manager and he said to me "I guess laser just doesn't work for you. I've had 1 treatment so far at laser away and I already see results. So I guess it does work, but the machine that they use here at this spa does not compare to what they use at laser away. Buyer beware!!! I purchased a set of 3 tattoo laser removal sessions from this place. After reviewing my photo via text, they determined that my tattoo was a little bit bigger than one credit card size so instead of three sessions, they would honor two laser removal sessions. Well, after my second session, they tried to squeeze me for more money, saying that my first session counted as two sessions and my second session counted as four sessions because my tattoo was bigger than a credit card. The lady running the clinic (long brown hair-appt was Sat 3/4 @ 10am) literally tried to argue with me for about 20 minutes and asked me for text evidence that this was promised to me (see photos below for text exchange from the spa).Never mind the fact that I went behind Groupon's back to give them the money directly. Needless to say, I walked out there and refused to be conned out of paying more money because they breached the agreement. And because of her adamant stance that I misunderstood what was promised to me, I will never ever go there again. Bait and switch technique in full effect. Shame on them. And she had the audacity to take her aggressive stance in front of other clients. She should be fired for how she handled the situation. Luckily for me, my dad owns a chain of laser/Botox clinics in AZ so I'm very well versed at how the business works. Her attempt to con me out of money was noted and DENIED.Oh, and the amount she tried to squeeze me for? $199 but tried to angle it like she was going to do me a solid and only charge me $49 on top of what I already prepaid for. Horrible! Do not use this facility! I was asked to come in because they had a new filler that they wanted to test on people I get to the facility and they make me wait three hours three solid hours while they are with another patient ahead of me taking their time. When it gets to my turn, they all of a sudden don't have enough time, although I have numbing cream all over my face on my lips which shouldn't have been on my lips. It shouldn't been near my lips at all have it on my lips I got a little in my mouth because they put it all on my lips because they were very sloppy to further this they did my right side they did a little bit of filler injection around my jaw, which what I was therefore, and then stopped because they wanted to tell me they were scheduling issues. This was running into a lot of time that they needed. I am surprised I haven't reviiewed this place yet. I got Botox here during their Botox event. The person on the phone was very helpful, making me aware of Botox day gift card sale and to be online as it goes live. My Botox experience was good enough for me to make an appointment again after 3 months as in I had no complications and the results were long lasting (3 months, have gotten it done at a location where it didn't even last a month) so why don't I give 5 stars? For one my appointment was for 430. I've gotten Botox 3 times from 3 different med spas so I know how long an initial appointment should take as I have essentially done an initial every time. they didn't pull me in for my appointment until we'll after 5 and I had to pick my son up from school. It Was extra frustrating because being tat it was a Botox event it seems whoever was available could take me. What I'm saying is people who came after me were being taken back. Quite honestly I thought they forgot about me. So some of the reviews saying staff is friendly but business is not operated in a way to keep customers satisfied Is exactly what I felt as well. Also this was the worse bruising and welts I've had from Botox. Also after a few weeks when I would raise my brows they became super rounded which I know is from that botox. Almost like that "Spock" result people get but my brows became weirdly rounded not pointy. I did take pictures but it doesn't do justice to what myself and my family saw. The place looks immaculately clean and the receptionists are very friendly, accommodating and helpful! Aleksandra, also known as Sasha is so good at what she does. One of the BEST masseuse I have ever encountered. I would highly recommend this place to all, i haven't had the experience yet with the other services they offer but the massage was excellent! I have been doing Botox for years...and I have never had anyone explain how important the 3 week check up is! Thank you, Marie for enlightening this ol broad! I was astounded at the difference from my first appointment and the one I had on 12/29. The spa has a serene atmosphere the is condusive to pampering onself! I have finally found my 'forever' spa. Only one thing I would offer: is a sale on Botox; and be able to purchase to bank the Botox for a year. All the deals that are offered are for 'new clients' only...and I understand that is a way to expand your customer base. I hesitated to write this review as I never like to say anything negative but the longer I've dealt with what Marie did to my face the more upset I get. I went in a couple weeks back for my routine Botox and my first time lip filler with lavande. Marie is very knowledgeable in a lot of areas and seems to know all the right things to say until something goes wrong. After the swelling had gone down on my lips I noticed one side severely starting to droop when I smiled. It looks like I have just been to the dentist and one side of my face is numb. I went back to see her last week for a touch up to see what could be done to fix it. This is when I saw Marie take a turn and started gaslighting me making me feel as if I was the issue. She told me the issue wasn't the filler but rather that one muscle on the side of my face was stronger. Then went further to tell me that one of my cheeks were (exact quote) "old and hollow". I'm 32 for reference and Marie maybe you should learn to not give people complexes when they're coming to you to feel beautiful not point out every flaw about their face. My smile had NEVER been crooked like this prior to getting work done with her so the issue is not my face like she so wanted me to believe. Friends and family have all noticed and I feel like I can't even smile anymore. I left the touch up appointment in tears because of how horribly she spoke to me and what I am left looking like because of her work. She left me with the receptionist to give me a quote on how much it would be to fix my lopsided face, which was $750.00 TO FIX WHAT SHE DID. Taking absolutely no responsibility for what she had done and doing nothing to help. Instead doing everything she could to turn it around on me. At this point I would rather put dissolver in, be refunded for her shitty work and just get my smile back to normal. I want everyone to know what they're getting into before going here because if something does go wrong you're on your own to figure it out. It's nice, the people are mostly friendly, but I recently went in to get Botox and requested less of a eyebrow lift- I am trying to avoid that extreme Botox eyebrow lift and the lady didn't listen at all! I bought the hydrafacial Groupon for my 14 yr old daughter's first facial. The esthetician cleaned and evaluated her skin. She determined that the facial we bought would make my daughter's skin worse and she consulted with the nurse. She offered us two choices 1. to come back when my daughter's skin improved or she could do a different facial and use the Groupon. We decided to stay for a different facial. She was very careful and very thorough. I stayed in the room the whole time and she continued to give us skin care tips to improve dry skin. She was friendly, kind, and respectful. She was careful to encourage my daughter. My daughter's face has never looked so good. I have amazing before & after photos but I am careful with my daughter's privacy so I will not post them here. Everyone is so professional and the microdermabrasian is so relaxing. Marie is amazing and really listens to my botox needs and Tandis is also great for microdermabrasian. This is the 2nd or 3rd time now that I've been texted advising that either the nurse is out sick or unavailable for my booking. My appointment for laser usually lasts no more than 15 mins. Very frustrating to be told I need to move my appointment and that they have no one that can fill in for 15 mins when I've already moved my calendar around to ensure this day would work. Terrible business practices & customer service unfortunately undermine the nice ambience & decent spa services here. I originally came to Lavande via Groupon & had a good experience, so I rebooked with the spa for my follow-up appointment. The morning of my appointment, they called saying they hadn't received my $50 deposit which I had already paid. That should have been my first red flag. A few hours before my scheduled time, I was texted that they needed to move my appointment up a couple of hours. I had already made the 40 mile trip up to the area, but had other engagements scheduled for the afternoon, so unfortunately could not accommodate their last minute change request. After much back & forth via text I find that they can't get me in the following weekend & they're actually closing the spa early today due to a cancellation before me (highly unprofessional). I wanted the service I'd booked & I'd already driven up to North County, so I cancel one of my other commitments (yoga class- $15 late-cancellation fee that I've now eaten personally) to make it in by their new, obviously unposted/unplanned closing time. I, fairly graciously given the circumstances (see screenshots), ask for some kind of a discount/concession on my services to compensate for this, to which they offered & then immediately rescinded a $20 credit to my Alle (frequent customer type) account. I called in & spoke to the manager, Jay, but he didn't seem terribly concerned about keeping good/repeat customers. I guess I see why they need to be on Groupon now to pull in new customers to make up for those they lose with such poor business practices & customer service- duly noted not to choose my next medispa from there, sorry Groupon. The best he could offer was a discount on my next service- but why on earth would I subject myself to these poor business practices again?!Their cancellation policy, if you're a client, is to keep your $50 deposit if you cancel/change within 48 hours. Apparently they will late-cancel on you with a couple hours notice & zero consequences other than losing customers/negative reviews online (a couple things they didn't seem too concerned about obviously). So now here I am eating the cost of a 80+ mile round-trip (I know, shame on me for not going with one of the closer medispas since they're a dime a dozen in SoCal, but I did actually think I liked this place until they screwed me over today), a late-cancel fee on ClassPass from attempting to accommodate this spa's poor planning/business practices, & looking for a new medispa. I went to Lavande Spa today to use a Groupon I purchased for 20 units of Botox, and I was very pleased with my experience. The staff was friendly and did not make me feel like I was less important because I had a Groupon. They also did not try to upsell me a bunch of Botox. The RN was gentle and answered all of my questions ! When I asked if she thought I needed Botox in my forehead, she simply said, "I wouldn't." So I really liked that she wasn't just trying to make $$ off of me, and gave me her honest opinion, even when I was obviously willing to buy more units. More...

My laser tech, Czarina, was amazing. I've been lasered for a Brazilian before, but this laser was a bit different. She took the time to explain everything. She made me feel so comfortable, she was so friendly and personable. The treatment went by super quick. This laser can glide so it's so much faster than all the other ones I've tried. My appt was 2 weeks ago and a significant amount of hair is gone from just 1 time. Im definitely going back for a series. They also have numbing cream you can get to apply 30 mins before.
