Laurel was absolutely great. When we met with her for the first time, she drove down to where we lived to meet with us at a local coffee shop, so from the beginning she was accommodating. My husband I do not know much about flowers and therefore do not have favorites or any preferences, so she was able to educate us and show us some really beautiful and affordable options that would be in season for our January wedding. She was flexible and allowed us to adjust our order a couple times to make sure we had exactly what we wanted. The big day finally arrived and she brought in the bouquets and they couldn't be more beautiful. She also showed me the purple orchids that we had chosen for our centerpieces and they were absolutely incredible, she said she had never seen them come in that vibrant color before. She put together all of the centerpieces, décor flowers and cake flowers within a couple hours and everything looked absolutely spectacular. We literally couldn't have asked for everything better. Laurel was very easy to work with and helpful in explaining what flowers would be in season around the time of the wedding, thus allowing us the greatest number of stems while staying in budget. I began my vendor search for my purple & red November wedding with 8 florists. I knew I wanted purple hydrangeas, ranunculus, peonies/garden roses, berries, anemonies, and dahlias.
Laurel was one of two florists who said it was possible to get the flowers I wanted the way I wanted them - i.e. not sparsely placed amongst fillers. Even better she could make it work in my budget! I met with her 9 months before my wedding. She was very easy to talk to and she instantly knew what direction I was moving toward. She made it fun and I left very excited to see her proposal. Laurel offered great suggestions and brought up details I would never have thought of on my own. I chose her for my wedding because I liked what I had seen of her work and because I felt I connected with her better than the other florists. I met with her two more times (and e-mailed her dozens of times) to discuss arrangement options and details for the ceremony and reception. She was always friendly, prompt (if not the same day response, 1 or 2 days after), and accommodating.
On the 'day of' our flowers looked beautiful and romantic! My now husband and I were in awe. I loved it all especially my bouquet. She did an outstanding job with the colors, flower selection, and textures. We received so many complements from our guests on our floral. The church looked amazing and the reception was stunning! I wish I could have preserved the bouquets and arrangements forever.
It was pleasure working with Laurel. Because I was a nervous bride, I requested descriptions, pricing, and all other general paper work early on so I could have it all planned out. Everything worked out wonderfully and I probably shouldn't have worried about it. She's definitely a professional.
What I truly appreciate is that Laurel took my idea and built on it, unlike other florists who tried to change it. I am so happy that our photographer was able to capture bouquets and decor for us to enjoy for years to come.

Laurel is an amazing and talented florist! She knows so much about both flowers and wedding it is amazing. I must say when we first met with Laurel we were so comfortable and at ease.
My husband and I don't personally know much about flowers, even though I love them! She recommended flowers and showed us pictures and even told us how we can use flowers in more than one space at our wedding to help keep the costs down. She was able to get a feeling of our personalities and what we liked as well as what we envisioned for our wedding day.
I wish I could attach pictures to this review! She turned a conference room into a beautiful floral almost garden like feel. She made our reception sparkle with all of her little touches and flowers spread on tables. I can't even begin to tell you how phenomenal my wedding bouquet was! It is gorgeous and so were each of my bridesmaid bouquets. The boutonnieres were just perfect and looked great on the tuxes. She also made these adorable little spray rose headbands for my flower girls. Which one of them still talks about!
She really helped our vision come together with all of the work she did with the flowers! She has these beautiful wrought iron candelabras, urns, pedestals and archway. These are really what transformed our ceremony and helped my husband get a feeling of a slight outdoor wedding. Our guests have raved and raved about the flowers, especially my grandma who is an avid gardener.
Laurel is so kind, patient, understanding and giving! She had additional pedestals made recently so she just added them in. We really enjoyed working with her and would love to use her next time we need flowers for any occasion!
Personally, I feel she is the best florist a bride and groom could ask for!!! She will make your day beautiful and all of your guests will rave about the flowers!

The flowers were beautiful, fresh, and looked amazing on our wedding day!
Laurel made it super easy to plan all my arrangements and made the price reasonable for our budget.
We had interviewed another florist for our wedding, one who tried to change my ideas, but not Laurel. She loved everything I suggested and made it come to life. It looked great and everyone loved our arrangements!
My bouquet looks great even a week later! I'm so pleased how my flowers looked and smelled!

I signed up for wedding wire just so I could give Laurel a great review, that's how much I enjoyed working with her. Laurel was absolutely wonderful! She did everything she possibly could to help me have exactly what I wanted (which was probably really tough because I came to her hardly knowing at all what I wanted) and when all was said and done it was even better than I imagined. All I knew was that I wanted purple flowers, I didn't know what kind I wanted or what shade and Laurel said "No problem, we'll figure out what you like!" Over our first meeting a picture formed of what I wanted and I tried to explain it to Laurel as best I could and she gave me ideas to help me and was never frustrated with me and really seemed excited about working with me. When the day came and I saw all of the flowers they were a thousand times better than I could have ever imagined. If you trust in her artistic ability and let her know what you want: She creates magic for you. I loved working with Laurel and I was so happy with the flowers and I know if you work with her you will absolutely love her too. Laurel's attention to detail, amazing creativity, and professional floral techniques were able create a more beautiful wedding than I could ever imagine.
She was very enthusiastic about my wishes and wanted to make my special day perfect. She was able to listen to exactly what I envisioned and create the perfect table arrangements, aisle arrangements, enormous alter arrangements, beautiful bouqets . . . she even took the time to arrange the flowers on my wedding cake when the cake decorater couldn't seem to get my vision right on the wedding day!!!! Laurel spoke on the phone and via email to me several times during the entire process . . . her communication was excellent. Here are some other key points that we were absolutely impressed with:
