A mother/daughter weekend was at hand so I went searching for just the right spot for us. We found it at Laurel Grove Inn. The innkeeper, Tiffany O’Donnell, was welcoming, accommodating and friendly. We stayed in the Anne Arundel Suite. What a delightfully big and cozy space. Our room also had a spectacular view of the South River. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was clean and spacious. I cannot emphasize enough on how AMAZING this place was. We spent the night of our wedding at the place, so we couldnt check in until later after the party and wrapping up of the party. Tiffany stayed up until we arrived, gave us a tour of the room at midnight, and was extremely hospitable. My husband and I came to Laurel Grove for a weekend getaway. When we arrived, we were so delighted by the property. There were so many wonderful spots to sit outside to drink coffee or wine while gazing at such a spectacular view of the water. Tiffany welcomed us into her beautiful home. She showed us around and made us feel like visiting family - she's such a delight. Our room was the downstairs suite. Big bed - super comfy - with a private door and parking spot! PERFECT! There is a mini-fridge in the room - very convenient for our wine. And there's a fireplace too. (We didn't need it as it was very warm)||||Breakfast was buffet style. I loved the deck area for breakfast. In the warm weather, it's an open air sunroom. It's clear that she can close it up for winter. ||||The entire house is inviting. I found various spots to work on my computer and enjoyed every minute. The Inn is located in a residential neighborhood. I thought it was more set away from the road etc. from the pictures on the web site. so, if one is traveling to Laurel Grove just keep that in mind. The breakfast was fabulous -Tiffany, the owner, outdid herself every morning with the best scrambled eggs I've ever had, oven-baked crispy bacon, sausage, new potatoes, pastries--and eating out on the Veranda watching the morning skull crews row by, couldn't have been better! Each room had it's own bathroom and was beautifully decorated. We loved playing pool with our grandchildren, visiting the dock and sitting by the South River. Loved the porches and being able to walk to the river and sit on dock or on Adirondack chair. There is nothing I would change, hostess and family were warm and inviting, great conversations, breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean, bright and comfortable. Was a terrific mini vacation!

My husband and I came here to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. We reserved the John Barry Suite, on the ground floor with a sliding glass door opening to the back and our own private entrance to the side. ||We arrived around 3 pm and after checking in we spent some time on the patio reading and watching boats and SeaDoos go by. It was a relaxing respite. ||There are two miniature schnauzers - Guinness and Tia Maria, with whom we quickly bonded. Guinness likes to serve as tour guide and show you around the house and environs. Tia Maria is happy to wait at your feet -and even bonk your leg - to request food at breakfast (not encouraged by the owners, I assure you!)||Tiffany the owner is friendly and has good suggestions for dinner and things to do. Breakfast on weekends is a buffet served between 8 and 11 am which means you don’t have to worry about getting out at a specific time.||The house is large and set above the river, offering a scenic view. You can have breakfast on the patio or inside.||The Inn is only about 20 minutes from downtown Annapolis so conveniently located to explore there but also away from the hustle and bustle.||We would happily go back! My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend and had a great time, it was perfect. This was our first timing staying at a bed and breakfast so we were not totally sure what to expect. The hosts, Tiffany and her husband, were very friendly and made us feel right at home. The room we stayed at was very clean, had a beautiful view of the river, and had a very large bathroom. The breakfast in the morning was delicious with lots of options. The two little schnauzers added even more character to the house and experience. We highly recommend for a relaxing weekend! More...

This place is great if you are looking for a comfy, home feeling. The lady who cared for us is so sweet and took great care to make sure we were well feed and taken care of the whole time! Hanging with her more than made up for the few cobwebs and dust in our room that are probably typical of an older house that is practically in country with the woods and on the water. The home was beautiful and comfortable and the staff and other guest were also very nice! It was great to come to breakfast and be able to chat with everyone, family style! It was so relaxing having the dogs and birds in the home also! I didnt mind and greatly enjoy that! We were even able to see some deer grazing in the yard when we woke up! It was very nice! Conveniently located close to the Naval Academy which was our destination. Easy to get back and forth and the lady caring for us even gave us a map and drew on the directions to and from. That was very helpful! If you like a big home-style breakfast and home feel and dont mind the pets and occasional cobweb then this is the place for you! More...
